  • @chrisiulianophotography3693

    Where does all the chopped up bits go? like the "pulp" i guess? In other machines you need to use a nutbag or strainer, but I didnt see you do that with this one. Or is there just some chunks of nuts in the milk still at the end?

    • @christinesroutines
      @christinesroutines  Pƙed rokem

      Hi Chris! There is no pulp of any sort. It all gets rinsed away with the auto-clean cycle and the rest is in the nut milk! (Believe it or not!) That was one of the reasons I bought this machine! Minimal cleanup, unlike the Almond Cow or Nut'r machines. After the clean cycle runs I just wash the parts and dry and you are ready to go another round if you'd like!! I hope this helps answer any questions! Let me know if you need anything else! My kitchen tends to get rather hot these summers. Wanted to make both yoghurts and sauerkraut myself because everything is so damned expensive. Someone suggested a wine cooler for the sauerkraut. @@christinesroutines I suspect my English side came over with the Romans, probably somewhere where tolerance to milk products hadn't developed. My father's side originates from Rotterdam. Maybe that's where the delay in the intolerance comes from. Interestingly, a friend of mine at school all those years ago couldn't have anything at all with milk and, like the rest of my mother's side of the family, she had jet black hair. Mine is the brownest of all of them. Always remembered that incident in the school canteen when a canteen server dumped a whole load of custard on her dessert when she had asked them not to. She was that annoyed and she explained the reason that she could have none of it and it ended up in the waste bin. After she'd paid for it as well! That was the first time I had come across milk intolerance. I did stop having milk products many years ago. it didn't make a discernable difference back then, which is why I returned to it. Hmm. Just shows how these things can build up!

    My family bought this for Christmas for me. I tried it and it worked the first 5 times. I did 1/2 recipes. Then it threw an error code of e15, call the manufacturer. They would not talk to me because I did not purchase it. My son finally talked then into replacing. They asked us to cut the electrical cord and toss. After a long wait we recieved a brand new one. This one only lasted 1 pot before it threw the e15 error. I tried both of them numerous times after the code, but they just don't work. The milk that we got was watered down or chunky. We can no longer return them. Researched a little and they are not designed for use above low altitude. So if you live at 2,000feet it may work. I also did not like that it had to go through the whole milk making process to clean. Each time it would throw an error I would have to unplug it, attempt to clean everything manually and then run a 15 minute cycle to clean it, which usually resulted in another error code. Don't buy
