    My biggest cons are
    1) even with filtering the milk, I did not find it creamy enough, so I will try more water next time.
    2) the motor overheats too fast, so multiple runs will not work without a cooling period
    3) milk tastes weird warm, so I do wish there was a cold setting
    4) like mentioned, you can only make 1 fill cup at a time

    Thanks for the very informative video. I was considering getting a nut milk machine, but wanted to see how it actually worked. Saves me so much $! I wo'nt buy one and keep using my blender. I soak my nuts overnight and make a large batch of nut milk and I'm good for thw week. Process is done once per week and the nut milk is delicious stored in the fridge. I use 1/2 cup nut, soak overnight, rinse and then add 6 cups of water and blend, then use a nut milk bag to strain and bottle. I would still need to strain the milk with this machine, so a blender is much more convenient for me since I already have one. This nust milk machine would do the same as blender, but take more space that I don't have, so this was perfect! Thanks

    • @StreetPreacherr
      @StreetPreacherr Před rokem

      That's what I've been trying to figure out. It appears to simply be a 'high speed/power' blender with a heating element? They seem to claim that most other 'reasonably priced' blender devices just aren't powerful enough to pulverize nuts without pre-soaking them? Although to achieve that 'power' they appear to have 'cheaped out' on the 'motor', and it overheats after only TWO '5 minute' runs before requiring AN HOUR to cool down before it can be used again?

Create nut butter with your food processor (or buy the nut butter) and add some water to create nut milk without the extra straining and what not. Nutr misrepresents this machine as being able to make rice milk, by following their simple recipe. Problem is, it spews boiling hot liquid all over your counter, making a huge mess and wasting all your ingredients and time. Nutr recipe says to fill to the max line. Don't do that! Another of their recipes said 1 cup water. That doesn't work either. Their customer service about this was terrible. They sent me a new machine, which does the same thing. And they refuse refunds or returns. I have used rice milk for years, I've preferred since it came onto the market. I'm soy-allergic and rice digests easier and is cheaper than nuts. Now I am stuck with this machine that is nearly unusable for rice. If I had known, I never would have purchased this machine. I could have used my blender. Don't buy a Nutr to make rice milk.
