I started filling out my DS-160 form after my form I 129f has been approved and sent to the NVC and received a notification from the lagos embassy where my interview was scheduled.

Hello comfort It took me a month to schedule my interview and get a date after the NVC sent me a letter on the next action to take. After my interview it took me a week before receiving my passport and visa in it.

My fiancée is in Nigeria I already went there once but I am doing a cr1 spousal visa once I go again and get married. I heard people get denied for k1 even being Genuine is the cr1 visa more chances. My dear it all depends on the individual and documentation. During my interview a lady was denied with the cr1 visa. It all depends on how well the individual is prepared for the interview you must be able to convince the consular that you have an existing relationship with your partner and enough evidence to back up your proof. Yes there is fraud in Nigeria but then again there are still loving and decent one there.thanks I hope this helps.

Age difference is what they also look into you can still overcome that if you are able to convince them...just be positive do your best and carry all the necessary document..Am sorry 😞 for responding late.

Carrying of food stuffs is totally up to you. Yes you can carry food stuff but you must give account of every food stuff you are bringing into the country and there is a form you are expected to fill out stating all the food items you are carrying before you get to your port of entry. Don't forget to put them in a clear bag and label them. As for me I didn't carry any food stuffs along with me just me and my luggage.
Firstly you have to decide on what you really want to do in the US. Because on entering the US they will ask you. So when you decide we will talk about it...hope this help.
