EDIT: PP3v3_S5 will be missing when the T2 firmware is corrupted not PP5v_S5.

A good way to see if the cpu vcore mosfets are shorted as you up the supply is to see if the voltage is getting through. If you get to 1.3v and that’s on the cpu side of the fet it’s shorted

Hello Tim great Video . I have a question, I have the same board 820-01041A and all the USB C ports are stuck on 5V 0.4A ( not boot looping). The PPBUS G3H is 12.3v and the PP3V3_G3H is 3.3v , however PP3v3_S5 is 1.3v. Can I assume that it's a problem with the T2 chip? I bought this computer from a guy who said that he thinks that a little bit of water touched the upper left USB C port of the computer and this is why the computer doesn't turn on anymore. I thought that if water touched the USB C port so probably the CD3215 will be damaged, but I assume it's not the case.Am I right ?

How did you know which value capacitor to replace ?
If the cap is damaged how did you measure the capacitance ?
