- The University Belt in Manila Philippines is an area with a high concentration and cluster of colleges and universities within the city of Manila. The University Belt Manila area is as follows: San Miguel District, Sampaloc, Quiapo, and Santa Cruz. In this video, I walk in gradual heavy rain from Nicanor Reyes St to Espana Blvd near the University of Santo Tomas, and then to local street food area on Padre Campa St. Enjoy and see you again soon!

U-Belt has 3 Clusters. Sampaloc, Intramuros and Ermita/Malate
So much memories and nostalgia. Thank you for the video
A really good film and a total credit to the cameraman who walked through the heavy rains with the public. Well done!! Geoff
Hello, I always watch your videos, I want to be able to visit Philippine one day, I'm from New York City, peter f.👍
KT is the best walking tour guide on CZcams!
I really want to go to the Philippines because of their kindness
Missing this place so much. Good Memories, 15 years from staying within the area, shoutout to the people of P.Noval St., Moret St., and Galicia St., FEU Engineering and Architecture. More Vids.
Tagal ko rin paikot ikot dyan sa Morayta at Lerma 1988 up to 1993 from FEU, IARFA❤
I miss the Philippines so much! I like to watch these videos while i do work
Thank you for showing us what it's really like to walk the streets of Manila on a rainy day and showing us the actual & realistic activities, movements, traffic, etc. Good job! Very clear video as well!
Glad you enjoyed it
I’ve been there studying 50 years ago. At U.E.
You're the best in your craft KT. Another great walking tour!
Thank you 🙏
Great content, mate. Can you do a video on some reasonably priced and clean hotels or accommodations. Even recommend places you stay at
Beautiful walking tour nice view
Thank you for great sharing my friend
Good morning
Thanks for visiting
Its like a modern 21st Century Blade Runner streets, Manila style. Awesome.
I enjoyed your video!.
Good videos...Manila Philippines it's rainy seasion, I live in Asia it's not rainy season yet. Greetings from Jakarta.
Maraming salamat po!
Its always rainy and typhoon season in the Philippines
5:00 thanks.
I should use your videos as scenery when I’m on the treadmill. I just have to find a way to listen to my playlist at the same time 😊
Thanks sa pasyal. Matagal ns rin hindi nalalagi sa lugar at dumaraan lang gamit ng sasakyan..lola and lolo sabi nila iba na noong dekada 70s lola ay FEU and lolo UE grad at date sila sa Maxim theater at Cinerama.
Good walang baha, kaunting traffic.
Great walk! You should do more of these atmospheric rain walks in diverse spots. Walking in places like Guadalupe, BGC, Ortigas, Binondo, Cubao, San Juan, and rural towns and roads during heavy rain. There’s a vibe to the Philippines during the heavy rains that you can’t really find anywhere else.
great video.I'm one of Your Fans.
watching from california love your video 2 years ako nag arak diyan
Thanks for watching!
lol why is so satisfying to watch this video of the cameraman in the middle of the rain
Salamat Krypto for the rainy 🌧 wet walk🚶♂️. 😊❤
I was in Manila overnight on the 16th of June after returning from Puerto Galera after 7 night's there. I stayed at a grubby, overly priced hotel only a few metre's from the L.A.Cafe, which ive not visted since April '09 and was first introduced to in January 2000. I've not been all over The Philippines, but id say Palawan's my favourite destination, followed closely by Mindoro. Also traveling by ferry is far more interesting than a plane journey and far less costly.
Thank you Krypto Trekker. I miss the place. Very memorable place to me. It has been along time since my last visit to the area. I am working here in abroad.
You could have set the camera on a tripod on the pedestrian bridge and I'd have watched it for hours. Reminds me a lot of when I lived on Nimman in Chiang Mai. I'd stand on my balcony when it rained and watch the traffic.
very nice walking tour of manila, watching from sydney Australia.
Thanks for visiting
My siblings attended FEU except me,I attended UST. I’m graduated high school from UST. The place is beautiful and clean.
Thank you po!
Kumusta po, great video, take care.
I love rain 🌧 ♥
Good to see a PH video not focused on a slum. You do good work.
Republica Dominicana Santo Domingo 👍👍
Thanks for the video, lots of childhood memories in this area where I grew up. The place looks really different from what it used to be. Hello to the present residents of P. Campa!
Glad you enjoyed it
... hello friend, I am Latin American and for a few moments you made me think that you were in my city on this rainy route, because I saw very similar sections, I send you my regards and I appreciate your work... successes...👍👍👍 ...(I was so absorbed by this video that I even felt cold, but my mind fantasized imagining those beautiful wet Philippino feet of the girls...) ...
que extraño estás xd
Visit the Philippines, so you can kiss and smell the feet of Cinderellas here ❤
Love it at university belt from Houston Texas
I went through this many years ago when I attended university and worked at the same time. It was tough! I hated it more when the streets were flooded and going home from school was a struggle. The good thing is, thankfully, I survived. I can see that Manila is much more crowded now than during my time. I hope things will become better.
One of these days I woulkd like to visit the Philippines. My son is going there next year with is girlfriend. She is going to show him where she grew uo. I believe she's from Cebu. Thank you for the very intersting video!

Back in the 80’s that area is a war zone for me “frat war”
I counted at least 100 beautiful women...

ah yes, my old stomping grounds.....
👍👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤❤
Is this the University District Sampaloc area of Manila?
Ooo
MANILA IS A MESSY PLACE
Manila needs to get rid of all Sidewalk Vendors. It will improve traffic flow, minimize trash and promote cleanliness and organized streets. Everywhere you look, there is a street vendor. It's an eye sore not to mention the health hazard that it poses as those vendor carts are not regulated by City Health.
Where is this in Manila, does anyone knows? Thank you.
Nicanor and españa blvd manila
Recto, Morayta and España blvd.
Sampaloc district, part of what we call 'university belt'.
Looks like a nice place ta visit but I sure as hell wouldn't wanna live in Manila!
YOU COULD HAVE ATLEAST SAID HI TO THE LOCAL PEOPLE IN ALL YOUR VIDEOS.
You should read the description of this channel
Grabe makaharang mga sidewalk vendors dito. Halos wala na madaanan. Mga estudyante. Paano na kung emergency? Maari din pugaran mga mandurukot.
panira yung mga nagtitinda.
