@@dannycheesums So far I've picked up The Fall A-Side 1978-2016 and a grey market 5 album comp of Frenz, Kurious, Hit, singles 87'-89' and seminal live. There's very little filler here, at least to me. Fucking great band.

i learned 3 amazing things from this video that i never new before today 1) mark e smith plays (kinda!) guitar 2) the fall collaborated with coldcut 3) this is amazing
The drinks starting to get to him around this time. He kept it together quite well when he was younger. Never seemed pissed when he was performing. Mid-to-late 90s he was constantly drunk. Sad to see. Such a creative man, could have done so much more.

I'm talking about art in general. Writing, things like that. He wrote screenplays and stories, poetry and prose. He was a big writer in general. It would have been get to see him great a film produced or something lol. There were so many avenues left to explore. Sad to see his life cut short like that.
with some people,added stimulant is a means to bump them into action from avolition or mental inactivity . this could be negative chicken & egg thinking but in certain cases without their particular muse they may have achieved less . i guess in todays’ world this isn’t at all a fashionable opinion 😁👍
I came very late to this game.. Like after he was dead. I'd heard their name back then too. Oh well, better late than never.

Yeah drink was clearly bad for him personally but ‘could have done so much more????’ Not sure that holds much water, he was pretty fucking prolific
