Your videos are criminally underrated by the algorithm, keep up the good work! Videos like these help make the hobby a lot more accessible. Like, terrain I can actually concievably construct and paint myself in a reasonable amount of time? Yes please. And those templates, that's the stuff!
Thank you, that's very kind of you to say!
No better terrain then the terrain you make yourself!
I couldn't agree more!
This is hands down the best video on CZcams for terrain nothing even compares to this level of help. I e made 3 bunkers and I absolutely love them all 3 costed me 55 Canadian. Saved me a fortune filling my board out cheers🎉
Thank you & I am glad I could help
Next desert building I make, I'm trying the flour texture technique!
I can't remember if I said it in the video but be sure to add salt to your flour to kill any bacteria. Give it a good mix & let it sit for a couple of hours.
Love that bunker idea with the servo turret will print and see what I can achieve :)
Good luck Robert, I'm sure it will turn out great. If you are on Instagram be sure to tag me in a photo! @Wulvenkraft
The precision and detail of these are ridiculously amazing. I love the shapes, structures, and how simple it all is. Very, VERY well done man.
Thank you! Definitely my favourite comment on any of my videos! Screenshot saved!
@@WulvenKraft glad to make your day as a fellow CZcamsr! 😍
@@SavageBruski Subbed!
@@WulvenKraft thank you! Glad to be "Moots" as they say. Been following your channel a while and you do really great work.
8:15. I visited an old military installation from the late 1800s. now it is a museum. Many parts of it are fully restored. If you all the edges of concrete are beveled. Not from weathering, but by design. Less likely to chip.
This is true, a happy accident, I found this out a couple of days after finishing the video 🤣
Man, these are utterly superb! I could see myself building some of these for my local club I help run, as well as my FLGS.
Thank you Grim, I'm glad I could help!
Love those finished pieces. Will need to consider making some myself.
This is fantastic 😀 I'm painting this week and watching your videos in the background. Not only am I being entertained but I'm learning heaps and gaining confidence for terrain builds. They are edited so well and I'm excited to be one of your earlier subscribers because it won't be long until your channel erupts. Congrats! 😀
Too kind Sir! Pretty much everything you see is me trying something for the first time, I figure if I can build terrain I have more money for plastic toy soldiers 🤣
Dont care what anyone says but that's a fantastic looking bunker!!..skills I envy you guys that can actually afford the models to play this game!!
Thank you! I agree about the cost! I only have a very small army made up mainly from presents. That said there are a lot of great proxies out there now & Kill Team is a great place to start with only five models each.
This tutorial was. Absolutely. Smashing! Clear, concise, and my favourite part: it fits really well with the Imperial Guard aesthetic from the first Dawn of War games!
Thank you Magnus! I'm glad you find it useful.
These will make a great addition to the Necromunda board I'm working on, thanks for this!!!
My pleasure. More to come in the New Year. Happy Christmas.
I like how you present the decay of the old bunkers. looks pretty good.
Cheers! I figure no Bunker would free from decay
The quality of the videos is astounding for the amount of subs! Your builds are great for my Tyranids and Orks! Subscribed 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! I enjoy the editing as much as I do the builds, hopefully both keep getting better. I've some plans for Orks that should be a lot of fun. Hope to see you in the New Year, have a great Christmas!
Glad to see this one pop back up. Simple build, looks great! Love the pop out roofs.
Thank you! Much more to come.
Clean and concise, just gets better and better. Great build
Cheers Marc! They took some time but I think well worth it.
These bunkers are really great! Like the slight differences in them especially.
Thank you! As they are basically the same, I wanted to show how easy it is to change things up, my hope is others can take them & take the from OK to great!
I'll definately be stealling that flour texturing for my next builds, cracking video as usual. Love the style and the music !
Thank you very much! Aye, the flour was a real surprise to me to, great for the scale & cheap hahaha. Merry Christmas.
@@WulvenKraft I'd be interested to see how long it's stable for, I don't think it'd rot or anything but maybe grout would be better long term?
Merry Christmas and happy new year!
@@martindunn4545 Aye, but I'm cheap hahaha. Yeah I've got some grout, but it arrived too late for this build unfortunately & I've always got flour kicking about.
@@martindunn4545 I was given a tip today. If you add some salt to your flour, leave it for a it, it should kill off any bacteria ensuring a long life span once painted.
These bunkers are bonkers! Great builds, mate!
Danke, Herr Albtraum!
Looks great & I really enjoyed how easy the build comes together with the template.
Old habits die hard 🤣 ... V2.0 of my shipping containers are just as good, in fact I think they are better & only a few pence each czcams.com/video/ZgznnrHR4ck/video.html
simple but so efficient! I love them ^^
I'm trying, very trying! Hahaha. Thank you.
Fantastic, looking bunkers would love to try and make some myself
Thank you & templates are free!
Thank your for this awesome Tutorial! Perfect for normal size. Now i want to try to scale it down for legions imperialis.
The templates should be fairly easy to scale, the question is, can you find the right sized material?
Yeah scaling it down was no problem. The walls must be around 18-20mm high.
The Problem is the "bending". I tested styrofoam (5mm), cardboard, a 3mm mouldable plastic sheet and pvc-foam board (favorite). It's really difficult to bend the edges at the smaller sections. Gonna need some time to figure it out.
@@Ladekabel0815 You could try scoring it from the opposite side, bend it & use a little filler to plug the open score.
This is so amazing! Your DIY videos really make me wanna start this hobby!
My attitude is simple. 'save your money for minis', you can learn everything else! 🤣
@@WulvenKraft That's a great attitude :D
@@akiarzonoko4792 It bought me several minis recently! 🤣
Just found your channel via this video and I'm quite pleased with your skill and production. Subscribed now!
Thank you very much! I'm busy working on a table full of ruins as I type 🤣
Killer job.
Cheers James!
Great stuff. Flour 👏 brilliant 👏👏😀👏👏👏
Use what you've got
First video of yours I’ve seen. I love the idea of bending the foam like that. Thanks for developing and sharing the templates! The result has a realistic but customizable look that can be adapted to so many situations. :) Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words!
@@WulvenKraft yeah, thank you for sharing the templates. It's a great help.
@@williamnichols539 My pleasure!
Ooohhh bunkers! Ooohhhh templates!
I don’t play tabletop games but i love trying to make the terrain and buildings for them.
I’ll have to try my hand at a bunker i think.
The bunkers are a fun easy build. This is another way to loose a couple of hours czcams.com/video/ZgznnrHR4ck/video.html
@@WulvenKraft That’s next on my watch list 😁 saw it on your channeland went ooooohhh Im gonna watch that one too….then promptly ended up too busy to watch it 😝
Tomorrow however there shall be binge watching MWUHAHAHAHA 😁
@@carrie4910 Loads more to come! New video soon, currently in edit, It's a bit mad 🤣. Then back to custom terrain pieces, display sets & board builds. I've even got my eyes on some old TV stuff!
They look great!
Cheers Mike!
Looks great, Well Done Sir!
Thank you! Much appreciated.
Intuitive to say the least…will be looking out for you as my phone doesn’t seem to have a notification option for any up & coming videos from you
That might be your OS, it's a common issue but not usually CZcamss fault.
If you subscribe, try & ring the bell, you may encounter a pop that say your device doesn't have notifications turned on.
Give ladders a rail and you dont need to let go of your gun
These were the first buildings I ever crafted, I've come a long way since then.
Love it! Great build.
Thank you. Much more to come!
I notice you use the colored ball-head pins and then take them out once the glue dries. What about using the flat head type pins and leaving them in for extra support?
I could but I'd have to keep buying pins 🤣
Very nice bunkers and great inspiration, thanks!
Thank you! Glad you like em, now take them & make them better! Hahaha
These look very cool man. Great job 👍👍. I also love how clean you keep your workspace. Mine always looks like a tornado passed through it
Cheers! They are just the start, my first attempt at crafting buildings.
I get really easily distracted & I've found keeping my desk tidy helps keep me focused.
@@WulvenKraft I would say it is a perfect attempt man 👍. Very cool.
I get that, i should do the same...It would help me to find the stuff I am actually looking for 😁

I’ve come to the conclusion that GW just says “fuck it” in regards to scale and it’s very apparent when the Goliath truck for the Genestealer Cult says it holds a 10 man squad
I suspect you are correct 🤣
Great looking build on all of these.
Just need a trench line to connect them all together! 😁
Cheers! Everything I'm doing is learning & practicing to build boards, so at some point you will get your wish!

It's always the dream to have a full table worth of terrain to play on.
A good mat really brings to table and terrain together.
@@stillunsure7630 I've seen some decent mats but I want to develop a fixed table with a twist.
@@WulvenKraft sounds intriguing, will need to watch out for your videos on that. 😁
@@stillunsure7630 My next video, editing currently, is basically me working through the idea of how I want to build a city board.
Awesome video, will definitely give this a go!

Nice craft my dude! Gives me a few ideas.
I thank you Sir!
Thank you for the templates. Your videos are amazing, I liked and subscribed.
No Sir, THANK YOU for the compliment, I work hard at improving both my terrain & videos. It really does mean a lot when people tell me the videos are good!
..I was just about to ask why all your things on walls are slanted, and then I worked out why, and now I feel special.
You will not regret making up 45 and 22.5 degree blade holding wedgey guider whatsits for slicin' foamcore accurately.
It's my hot wire 🤣
@@WulvenKraft ...I see that thing, it's wirey but I've seen hotter. Naw, 4:50, you set about slicin' off a chunk of foam core with a knifey-doodle, so it's end flush with the wally, um, wall. It's way easier to cut forty five degrees through foamcore with a wodget. Just a wedgie will do the trick if you don't object to just gluing on a spare blade without the handle. By easier I mean in the sense of being technically more difficult and time consuming but loads more accurate and repeatable especially if there's a bunch to do.
Also, a pair of blade sections taped to either side of a bit of foam core will cut a paper strip exactly the width of foamcore which is handy if you wanna seal that foam away from prying eyes. Also works with corrugated cardboard but, I mean you'd have to tape the blades to a piece of that, because of the... never mind, I'm sure you follow.
@@Belzediel I'm with ya! Old woodworking tricks but I'm just lazy 🤣
More than fair, laze on you crazy diamond. :-)@@WulvenKraft

Wow man I'm so glad that the Algorithm Gods blessed me with this video appearing in my feed 😝😝 Jokes aside, really good looking and well crafted bunkers man, I love them. And you giving out the templates for free it's just the cherry on top 😙😙😙 I only have one question before downloading them.
Would I need to print them on an A3 paper sheet right? Because you said that you used several A3 Foamcore sheets for this build and it looks like you just glued the templates directly onto the foam sheets and they where the same size. Cheers from Spain 😄
Greetings from Scotland. I'm happy you like them they were my first attempt at building an actual building hahaha. Yes the templates are in A3. They are all available in Jpeg & PDF. I am reliably informed can be printed in 'poster' format on A4 paper & stuck together to for the full size sheet. If using JPEG you can print the in 'poster' format using Microsoft Paint. Good luck & if your on Istagram find me (@Wulvenkraft) & tag me in any photos of these bunkers.
@@WulvenKraft Wow, pretty impressive for a first attempt 😱😙 Thanks for the answer, I don't have a printer so I'll need to get the templates printed from a local photo/print shop so I'll just ask to get them printed on an A3 paper sheet. Yeah, I'll follow you on Instagram and tag you when I upload pictures of the bunkers as soon as I get them done 😄
@@Saefogeo Perfect! If you have to go to a Copy Shop, check out my Shipping Container video before you go.
amazing!!!!
The bunkers gives Light Cover and what else?
You could treat as Ruins, light cover, scaleable, breachable, defensible & obscuring. I could also see it as an Industrial Structure, scaleable, , breachable, dense cover, defensible. As its agreed with your opponent either would suit.
Inspiring stuff! What is the purpose of the isopropyl alcohol?
Thank you! I assume your meaning spraying the alcohol in conjunction with watered down pva? It helps break the water tension so when sealing sand for texture it helps it seep into all the crevices instead of drying over the top.
Nice video, brother. I like your editing and humor. Good project! I'll give it a try. Clicked that like and sub for ya. Looking forward to more videos
Thank you on all counts! I've got my eyes on a few builds. If you're on Instagram please find me on there to @wulvenkraft, I'd love to see what you do with these templates.
What stencils did u use for the numbers?
They were custom stencils & unfortunately I can't remember from which font as I have a collection of about 10,000 🤣. I've looked & looked but can't find it 🤣
I feel like the file I downloaded and printed is much smaller than the one you made....
The original file is A3. You may need to print it in a 'poster' setting. I had been advised that is much easier using a PDF. If you can hit me up on Instagram I can send you a jpeg version if needed.
What kind of foam board is that. Is that the kind that has paper on both sides ? Or just think xps ?
It's foam core, the stuff with the paper on.
How did you build that base portion of the bunker? I noticed it at 0:01 right at the beginning
It's just chipboard & sand, couldn't be simpler 🤣
@@WulvenKraft oh awesome lmao
