Love kin and kind. Recently tried out raw edges rinses and I highly recommend that cleanser. It is as natural and raw as it can get. It doesn’t strip your dog’s coat and is super gentle on the skin.

There is a little part of me however that wishes if you could show in your videos all of the initial challenges you have eg, at first getting your dogs into the bath tub in the first place.

He looks a lot like my golden doodle who’s parents were a standard poodle and a goldendoodle. Also, genetics is pretty funny. He may have more golden in him than poodle 😝

I use Tropiclean hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner because that’s what my groomer recommended. I let the conditioner sit in for a few minutes as I brush his coat, after words I don’t let him air dry because his hair gets super tangled so it takes me 2 hours to get my pup all dry and he’s a small puppy too so he’s still getting used to the the hair dryer and the bathtub :)

Hi Rachel! I’m actually gonna bathe my dog today too BUT it's hard for us to get him for a bath huhu. Thanks to you that Treats are essential to creating a positive atmosphere before getting them bathe. And to also play with them first so they don't know that they are going to be bathe hihi.

Really recommend a water blower / blaster for Poodles and Doodles. You straighten the hairs and therefore you don't have the tangles in the hairs that you get with a regular blow dryer. I never have to brush my dogs (Goldendoodle and Toy Poodle) before washing. 👍
oh my gosh your videos are so helpful! Even though i'm not getting a goldendoodle, (my dad doesnt like big dogs and my sister is allergic to dogs. Also apparently they arent the best beginner dog.. 🤪) i'm getting a bichon frise, not confirmed, thats just what im researching, your videos are still very helpful! Keep it up! Dr bronners castile soap (unscented) is the best shampoo to use for dogs. It's the only thing I'll ever use on mine.

My doodle also hated water at the start but with lots of treats and repetition, he loves water! I should make a video about washing my Aussiedoodle. It's funny because he always (tries) to bite the water stream!

My dog loves bath's he always barking around, shaking and wall just watch tv with me but when it's winter he does not love to take bath even I put warm water but when it is summer he does not like hot water he wants cold water ONLY. I love your video's lol

Oh my gosh my golden doodle has all kinds of red hair like max!!!
I had a Lhasa Poo and she didn't like her face washed. I would wash and rinse her whole body in the tub with a sprayer which she didn't mind but then for her face I would fill a squeeze bottle with warm water to rinse her beard area and around her whole face which she found less intimidating. That might work for some, especially smaller breeds. I did all my own grooming. (A bottle like the Mrs. Myer's dish soap bottle worked perfectly because it was narrow enough to grip, held a good amount of water and the nozzle on top was centered.)

Thank you for all your amazing videos and for sharing your experiences...I have a golden doodle just like Finn (Coby) who does hate baths and it takes a long time to completely dry him out..... How long should a whole bath take? Bathing and drying him out take upto 3 hours.... Am I doing something wrong? Or is that about average for a GD?

Fin looks exactly like our Labradoodle Lacy, but she's more on Poodle side than Labrador.

I love watching your doodle show. I have twin boys one apricot and one phantom, ooooohhhh, spooky. I hate that the apricot always looks like he has been dipping his beard in gravy. I am told it is an enzyme in all dogs saliva that turns the beard brown. Its not dirty but my handsome boy looks dirty to the uninitiated. They are both one year old and currently 100 lbs. Its hard work having two from the same litter. Its true what the experts say but they are good company for each other if I ever have to leave them alone.

Ive never heard the theory of them being big on their scent. My poor baby i used to always take my poodle for a car ride after a bath have some fresh air hit his face and I'd stop at mcdonalds to get him a 4 peice chicken nugget 2 for him 2 for me. He loved our routine but never thought he might feel vunerable. 13 years.💔🤷

Use warmer water than the current water and don't take too long to towel dry💕
