mrsgbee, I had to drill a hole through the plastic it was a small nut and bolt I had laying around, the bolt can't be to long otherwise it will hit the ball. Good luck.

Did you use a screw or bolt and nut? What size?

Bolt and nut. Just what I had in stock. Not too long or it will hit the ball. Good luck
