Good Job. I ordered a 1877 flat car from ebay and was dissapointed when a wheel fell off the plastic trucks. Now I know how to replace the plastic trucks with some Die Cast Metal ones and still be able to run the 1877 Flat car with horses around my layout. Thanks again.

Cool demonstration. Now back on the layout for revenue service. 😎

Very nice layout and nice video on the trucks. I have literally done hundreds of refurbs where you can take a broken tossed aside car and turn it back into a really nice piece of rolling stock.

Thank you very much. This has been a really fun project for me! Good way to save a little money and some rolling stock! Layout progress has been made since this video. Check out all my new videos!!!

For me I ordered the 6-14078 die cast trucks. It’s the whole assembly. I was glad I did the complete rebuild!

Good job do you have a metal cap for your automatic highway flasher?

Thanks. The lights are activated by the rail wheels rolling over a 154C contactor
