  • Rati Mambo investigates how to build an Earthbag Dome. Sustainable Building experts Nicholas Jouin and Minna Seppala from Permastructure are building a sauna in their backyard in Heidelberg, Melbourne. They have a bunch of Earthbaggers helping them.
An Earthbag Dome is a monolithic structure that can last for thousands of years with minor maintenance.
Filmed and edited by Director and Camera Operator, Andrew McDonald from Documentary Shop.

Thanks to our politicians and friends from CHINA? The soft takoever has been very successful despite what the locals advocate for their own destructon? The fact is even if you put a tent on a piece of land youll be working all your life to pay off. A block and house is $600-700k in melbourne is a crappy suberb. They have totally ruined locals chances of living in their own countrys thanks to greed and the support of removing Europeans out of existence? Literally. Ive seen a loss of my people over 30 years. Literally they are gone in most suberbs? in Austrlia. Plus the interbreeding. Thanks to liberal programming. Such a sad state of affairs. Sold out. The people are too primal and basic to realise what was the reason which preserved their culture to getting to this stage.

@@stevygee605 I don’t understand how some people of European ancestry are so overwhelming concerned about a fictional European cultural genocide when that’s exactly what Europeans have been doing around the world to others. It must be some kind of guilt paranoia that others will do what Europeans have long done to them? But I think others may be more enlightened to cause such destruction. If you are in Australia, please remember that IS NOT Europe and you should respect the original people of the land as the ultimate caretakers. To prioritize yourself in someone else’s country is self centered and ethnocentric.

7 years later, can we get an update on how this structure is working out as a sauna? I would be interested in its long-term reaction to heat and steam on the inside, how the interior holds up, if any mildew formed, problems, etc. Its a nice size and shape for a sauna, but heating up the upper reaches of the dome might take a long time. Saunas typically have low ceilings so the heat stays down where the bodies are.

Time to bring back the community churches being involved. The Amish still do this, think the other churches should do the same.
