How to remove WTFOS from Caddx Vista and DJI Air Unit?

If you want to use DJI Goggles 2 with DJI Air Units and Caddx Vistas you have to upgrade the firmware with DJI Assistant 2. But if you previously used WTFOS to get MSP Displayport OSD, you have a problem. DJI Assistant will say “Cannot Load Firmware List. (4-10) Please retry”. It means you have to completely uninstall the WTFOS from the Air Unit or Vista. Plus, do some extra magic to stop the ADB server with wtfos-remove-adb command. This video is a detailed tutorial on how to doit.
Plus, let’s talk about compatibility with DJI FPV Goggles, DJI FPV Goggles V2 and firmware downgrade.

Hi ..unfortunately, despite the deletion attempts, I can't see the firmware in Assistant 2...how can I do it? Sorry for my English as a translator
I just did this and I did not have to do the CLI command. DJI assistant upgraded just fine. WTFOS must have added the ADB removal to the automated removal process.
I’m doing it according to your video, after deleting wtfos I can’t go into the cli to register wtfos-remove-adb, it’s not active
Do you have good range when combined goggles 2 and vista? I get very poor range.
tried removing wtfos but it takes so long. tried how many times (almost 15mins eveytime) but still no good result. is there any fix on this?

I only have V1's and WTFOS installed on all vistas, colour OSD in goggles too.
Still good enough for me. If I had money, I'd get V2 not goggles 2.
My concern is the online installer/uninstaller. Can we go back to default DJI firmware if the wtfos website goes down?
It's your own fault, you could have kept the V2. 😅😝
Please help me how can I update my air unit vista to the latest firmware? The update process freezes at 99% I deleted wtfos with the button, then I need to go to the cli but after deleting wtfos it is not active, it swears at ADB and asks to re-route

After removing WTFOS i get the following message when trying to reconnect "Could not connect to device, make sure that adb server is not running on your machine (adb kill-server) and that you are not connected in another tab/window." So i am unable to open CLI and run the code. Any ideas on how to get around this issue?
after unninstalling it doesn t want to connect anymore so i can t go through the cli command

Get DJI V2, before they disappear "new". Not goggles2. IMO, from reviews.
I have one question about audience mode on Goggles 2 and goggles V2 . And you might have both.
I have 2 dji goggles V2 and audience mode works well.
Did you teste audience mode with a dji goggle2 as master and goggles V2 as spectator?
No, I only have V2 goggles. On top of that, audience mode for G2 works in a different way than in V2. Goggles are rebroadcasting instead of V2 listening to Air Unit

So does the original air unit now work with msp displayport and Goggles V2? Or only with Goggles 2?
Also can't you use fpv-wtf/butter to force flash original firmware which would wipe wtfos?
Official MSP Displayport will work only with Goggles 2, not FPV Goggles V2
How is it a one way trip if you can downgrade?
I have this issue trying to bind a link to g2,I got the same error,so removed wtfos,and followed this video to remove the adb aswell,and the cannot load firmware error still comes up in dji assistant,please help us im stuck as to what to do now

@@aryabolang2021 what worked for me as I remember,is I removed wtfos and the adb,and it still didn’t work I tried a couple of times with no success,it was only on my 3rd and last attempt before I was going to throw it in the bin in a rage!,that it worked😵💫
So qq: if I have the goggles 1 v2 can I update the dji firmware and get the msp osd stuff or do I need the goggles 2?

@@serang Right, imo they are annoyed they got hacked and trying to close the door again with firmware updates and lock us out again. Just wait for it ;-) Sticking with WTF for now.
@@flyingdutchmanfpv IMO they're too stupid. People do like WTF-OS, the MSP DP is perfect for any firmware, and we can customize the font. But they don't copy the work of WTF-OS. What they did is making simpler OSD that was Betaflight centric. They forgot people with fixed wings existed. I believe they could make more money if they cared more about the community. Up until today I'm holding off to buy O3 because I don't want to see question marks on my INAV OSD.

yeah out of my 3 units 1 was easy the rest I can uninstall and remove wtfos-remove-adb. However I can't load latest dji
@@philthayer4087 what I ended having to do was root it again reinstall wtfos install a couple of the programs or what ever they are call then while it’s still connected uninstall Everything again and it finally worked.
