- Get ready for a multi-part series of BIGFOOT's 5000th appearance, which took place back in September of 1989. Indianapolis, IN played host at the 4 Wheel Jamboree that year, which showcased every BIGFOOT from that time: BIGFOOT 1-8, Fastrax, Ranger and Shuttle. This first part (filmed September 28-29) shows the trucks being transported from St. Louis, MO to Indy and then being assembled and displayed at the Jamboree, capped off by one of the best picture opportunities of 1989, which was every BIGFOOT in one place at one time!

The year was 1984, i was 9 years old, that year i'd had a canoeing accident and nearly drowned. That night i had an hour of non stop crying, as theshock was leaving my systen. After i'd dried my eyes, i vowed to my parents "i'm going to learn to swim. By october that year i was swimming. About the same time, over here in england,we started to get "BIGFOOT" commercials for the playscool toy. It went straight to the top of my christmas list. Christmas morning with my presents open, there was no sign of bigfoot. We had breakfast, got dressed, then my dad said " look under the tree, theres another present there for you" on the label it read, "to liam, well done on learning to swim, father christmas" once the paper was off, there he was in full glory, my own BIGFOOT. Pure magic, i still have him. Thanks BOB for creating a legend👍👍👍👍👍👍🤠
I still have my Playskool Bigfoot truck packed away. I got mine I believe Christmas of 1983; one of the hot toys that Christmas.
That convoy was surreal, as a kid, if i had cross that on the highway, I would've lost my mind.

What a badass job it would be to work for Bigfoot and get to assemble work on drive and race these beasts! I'm sure its all a lot of work, but totally worth it!

That image of those haulers rolling down the highway had to have been a sight to see. Just like here shortly when the current haulers will be leaving GA and heading up north for the next stop for the Hot Wheels Ultimate Drive Thru.

I thought the Ranger was long gone. That truck was quite a performer.

I wished Ford had stayed with Bigfoot. At least Bigfoot utilized Ford components and won alot with Ford. Not to mention that every time Ford released or updated a truck model , the Bigfoot trucks looked so good and represented it very well

This became my all time fave BIGFOOT poster, which I got from 4 Wheel n Off Road when they did the article on BF#8.
it hung in my room for many a year, even thru a hitch in the U .S. Navy( Hey Bob and all BF crew that served, Thanks for your service, Shipmates)
and several apts. It now lives in a frame in my garage. Cool to see the work and coordination that was put into the photo shoot.
Looks like it took LOTS of maneuvering to get #5 in place.
Soon, I 'll send y all the poster in the hopes I could have it signed by Bob. Jim, and any of the crew that s still with Team BIGFOOT.

They had up to #7 at this point. Also the ranger, fastrax and the shuttle. So ten Bigfoot vehicles total.

Bigfoots 2,3,4,6,7 are not apart of the current family of trucks. Bigfoot #4 is currently being restored and the other trucks are else where around the world. As well are the Fasttrax, Ranger and Shuttle. I think the only 2 trucks that are not in the USA are #'s 6 and 9.

Bigfoot 1 was there and at this particular time Miss Bigfoot was painted Blue, so the Blue Ranger with the dual wheels was the Miss Bigfoot.
In the group shot from right to left: Bigfoots# 's 1,2,4,3,5,6,7,8, Bigfoot Shuttle and in the middle left to right the Bigfoot Ranger and Fasttrax.
At 1:19 is Bigfoot 1 which is the 1st truck behind the sleeper of the truck that's transporting it.
1:44 is a good shot of it on the transporter.
