Steamboat, CO: Storm Peak Express - Take 2

When this Doppelmayr Uni high-speed quad was installed in 1992, WJW was removed, and the original Storm Peak triple was shortened, now known as Four Points. This lift is also another access point to Morningside, the other ones being the Sunshine Peak lifts. Storm Peak is the heart of the Boat, as it can be seen from downtown. There are 143 chairs and 24 towers. Estimated speed is 910 fpm.

They intentionally have the gap so they can park it with no chairs in the top terminal. If snow drifts they can get a snowcat in and clear it out.
