  • So I played 18 holes for the first time in a while the other day and it wasn't my best, especially with driver! I scraped it around, but it wasn't pretty. I primarily was hitting the ball off the toe. After the round I hit the range and used CoachNow (my golf swing analyzer) to help see what was going on. I immediately saw the issue and after a quick change, my driver swing was re-dialed, my power fade was back, and I was hitting irons correctly again!

    If I shot one under there’d be no analyzing required, just smelling salts.

    You’ve experienced what happens to a typical amateur, spend most of the round trying to figure out what is going wrong! 🤣 I like that ‘slinging the left arm’ feel as a checkpoint.

    Great stuff! I just signed up for your website last week and look forward to using it for better play. Thanks Milo!

    Good video I struggle with same thing regarding ball placement easy to see when you video.
    Thanks Milo

    Love it, I need to look at video more. I just got a Flightscope and my path is 5-10 out to in. I could get it closer to zero but couldn’t match up the face angle. Thanks for the reminder to get feedback and check setup first.

      You bet Steve, let’s get those path numbers a little better 👊

      I actually played a couple times recently. Always fun to get out there! The game was starting to come around nicely.

    I think this is a huge thing I’ve been missing with my set up and trying to have stronger grip. It’s not just how many knuckles you see, it’s about being on the trail side of the club. I filmed myself after adjusting and thought I’d be very closed and tilted and I just looked square.

    I just went through the almost identical thing. My hands tend to get back too far also with the longer clubs because of the things you indicated. Very frustrating when you’re not sure what’s going on because you can feel it in the setup but you go ahead and swipe at it anyway. lol

      A lot of the time it’s a simple set up adjustment 👊

    Thanks for uploading. Still playing below par is quite good when ball striking is off. I assume your short game saved the round. Thinking in dispersion: how much in yards was it?

    What shoes are you wearing at the range in the red shirt? 03:44

    Have you ever hit that house you’re hitting towards?

    • @MiloLinesGolf
      @MiloLinesGolf  Před 9 měsíci

      Haha no except for long drivers, but the other side of the range can be in play if I'm not careful. That's the clubhouse.

    Mike Malaska has just released the "Malaska Move."
    You have to get a move Milo and name it after yourself.
    The Milo Move, The Henry Fall Fall, The Lines Line.
    The Milo Lines Batting Box something something.

    • @MiloLinesGolf
      @MiloLinesGolf  Před 11 měsíci

      Malaska didn’t want anything named after him but since he was going against the grain everyone called the tipping out feeling the Malaska move.

    • @truthlifefishing1730
      @truthlifefishing1730 Před 11 měsíci

      @@MiloLinesGolf Everyone calls it the Malaska Move because it sounds cool. The second you find a move or a new drill give it a Milo Lines name. You wasted one drill by calling it the Zombie Walk when clearly it could have been called the Milo Snuffalupagus Shuffle. See what I mean?

    Love when people complain about shooting -1

    • @MiloLinesGolf
      @MiloLinesGolf  Před 11 měsíci

      In fairness I typically average -3 or -4 at our home club assuming the conditions aren't crazy. This was a particularly bad ball striking round where I happened to scrap it around ok. On a more penal driving course, I could have easily shot much worse.

  • @truthlifefishing1730

    When you say "you went to the range" I interpret that to mean,
    you went online and watched instructional videos of Eric Cogorno.

    • @MiloLinesGolf
      @MiloLinesGolf  Před 11 měsíci +3

      In fairness, par for me at our home club is probably like 3 or 4 under in benign conditions. I gave the Tour life a shot and it didn't pan out, but I love what I am doing now, helping other fulfill their own golfing dreams.
