@@awagnow As far as I've heard, Mine is useful, but is far from meta compared to other banners before and after her. I also like her design a lot so I might waifupull her as well if I have enough Pyrox.

I was really torn on of wether to recruit on this banner or not... Because if I didn't get Ako in 100 pulls I would not have enough to pull on T.Yuuka and still have 200 for Himari... But after consideration I decided I'd just skip T.Yuuka if I got unlucky but I actually got Ako in just 50 pulls and also Ui! I think it was worth it for a relatively newish player like me

I only use hibiki a lot in the first few months due to lack of other units and then gradually abandon her since Ako plays a more important role in raids.
Ditto, one of the students that would have made early game so much easier, but now I'm also an end game player there's no point. Would like to have her, but if she's farmable later I can wait.
@@user-pn4wk5te2j Iori did have her own banner, you didn't try for her then? I managed to complete everything except Gehenna and Trinity C in scrimmage. It wasn't bad not having Iori. It gave me a chance to build other students. Hasumi is a good substitute for most content. Hasumi's random crit rate is a pain. When she hits she does a lot of damage. It's when she doesn't hit where you usually have to restart when in a raid. I did take advantage of farming for her when you were able to. By the time I got her, I was able to max her completely without hitting the eligma shop. I managed to get exactly one dupe of her in a later banner, nothing since.

Ako's buff is probably better because set-up one Striker with her Crit buffs to deal more damage, which is often more useful than just healing. Though she is still a permanent student unlike Gym Mari in case that matters. Compared to OnseNodoka (Onsen Nodoka), GyMari (Gym Mari) can heal her allies for a lot (usually just overheal except for healing reduction stages, but there can still be cases where she cannot heal herself enough) and can save up a Special slot since she's a Striker, but her EX range is quite limited and can become a problem if other Strikers are too far apart. OnseNodoka can also buff Atk whereas GyMari is really just focused on healing.

I don't have Ako and I'm going to skip her banner, there was no mention of why Ako might end up being skipped by some, and this factor is called HIMARI, which if you put it side by side and see who increases the damage more, Ako loses in one considerable margin, Himari arrives in 3-4 weeks so it's not smart to take one that isn't as good as the one that will come out in a short time and risk running out of it.
I wonder just how Ako and Himari's buffs compare for damage, ignoring that cost recovery, especially since I don't know much about the actual math between them.
Ako is usually a better buffer though it also depends on the unit she is buffing. While Himari just gives more attack, Ako increases Crit chance and Crit damage, so as you can imagine a unit with almost no crit chance and no crit damage bonuses won't benefit from Ako that much, while someone who has those buffs, like Aru who buffs her own Crit chance and Crit damage, will benefit from Ako a lot more, reaching basically 100% crit chance and a big amount of crit damage. TL;DR Ako is better for hypercarries with good crit stats while Himari's attack buff is equally effective on anyone.
The main reason to roll ako, is so you can have ako and don't be force to use support ako once himari drops Since when himari drop she will be the fixed slot on friend for all raid. And is just suck to skip himari support cuz she is just too good.
Hello I am a new player and don’t know how much currency I can expect in the coming months. I have around 10k right now, can I pull somewhat safely for ako, himari, and Mika? And if not who should I pick? Or is there any other units I should just pick instead?
Since you are new player...i suggest you try to keep your pyrox up to 24k 1st...then make sure to have enough 24k pyrox for mika banner since Mika is broken and at the same time mika banner has high 3* drop rate so you will get a lot of ssr student there ^^
as a new player you get a lot of pyros. I started about 2 months ago and have 80k with still a lot of unclaimed pyros. You are safe for himari and mika for sure, though I dont think you will get 24k before ako banner ends. You will get lots of pyros in the coming weeks though so even if you waste everything on ako now you should still get 24k before himari banner ends. Dont worry about mika, thats in 3 moths and you will have enough
I was gonna skip but then said f it and threw 50 pulls in First 40 were nothing, but then Archive gave me 3 3 stars in one 10 pull. One of them was Ako, so that's great, others were Saki dupe and Saya lmao
Yuuka is undoubtedly fundamental to Goz and Shiro/kuro, while Mari is not even the second best at what she does, she is behind characters like Koharu and Kokona, an easy skip.
If you were able to pull her, I’d say that is super worth since she’ll make pretty great returns on your pyroxene loss for when you push raids and challenge event quests!
I couldn't resist Ako and Hibiki and managed to get them in 130 pulls too. Now it is time to save up for Himari and Mika. I don't think I have enough for Gym Yuuka. Oh well, I can always borrow her I suppose.

@@Izazoy ultimately NY Fuuka is mostly used as a second option for either ur 1st or 2nd team comp during raids in the special slots. (Himari will always be necessary btw.) NY Fuuka is best paired with Mika since Mika has permanent crit similar to saori. And Ako is still very much useful and meta, she’s still useful in tackling challenging content along with the usual usage in boss raids.

Mika will not rerun soon, since it has only first appeared in the JP server a while ago. Mika's banner will appear in Global server about three months from now.
yuuka is mystic reposition and shielder mari is mystic healer himari is attack buffer i personally think himari is the safest option, since an attack buff (105% at max) to a student is very powerful, but yuuka is limited and very helpful on goz, however i havent seen her used too much outside of goz. mari isnt used too much though, so you dont have to concern yourself over getting her

This banner is a rest banner for me since I have both Ako and Hibiki (had her from day 1). The next few banners will likely make my wallet cry.

I was in the same boat with Iori. It took the Wakamo banner to finally get her.

My luck is extremely weird. When I pull Ako banner I got hibiki. Then I go for 10 pull of hibiki I got Ako 😂😂
