EDIT: Koharu & Iori can be farmed as well, completely forgotten that they added Koharu recently in the shop. Still think Iori is a good choice because it may take months to get her.

4:05 I do want to pick ako but when you mean save you're ticket for the selector you can't mean the free ones for Ui and hinata because I hear they expire Towards the end of the first week, I also wanted to ask, is it okay to pull for Ui now cuz I want to pull for both ui and hanako or if I want to Save more for hanako should I wait because ui might effect my pity and just skip Ui instead for hanako?
What are the chances atleast?,
@@Akaneblaze1345 oh I meant the selector that you buy, not the free pulls. Those need to use right now. Hanako is more important than UI, so only pull up if u rich

@@Akaneblaze1345 i dont think the 100 pulls affect your Hanako pity, how does that even work? I'd use them on S.Ui or S.Hinata so i don't see how skipping that will help you with Hanako :/
Himari banner will come in May, so just use the selector on ako, ui or shun

Iori and Koharu are farmable as well
koharu is farmable students , just do the total assault, earn 250 coins the purple , and buy it in sora's shop , me it took me 4 boss raid seasons to get and i say she's so good that im always alive in gregorius boss raid
Iori is only available at higher stages, which is unobtainable for beginners. You need to be at least at level 60-ish with T3-T4 equipments to go through stage 12-13.
For seasoned players, can just farm of course.

14:44 Ui's EX skill decreases in cost when you level it up. down to 3 cost at max level

Notes:
Tsurugi → JFD shop (confirming video statement)
Ui's ex skill cost changes from 5 → 3 as you max it out, very worth for when you're cycling higher cost ex skills. (saying since those new to the game might be intimidated by the initial 5 cost)
..though I have to ask, isn't Himari's cost recovery really big when you max it out? +20.2% Cost Recovery for the whole team means cycling ~16.7% faster, right?
Yes Himari cost is insane for sure but recent new characters a lot can also do cost recovery like new year haruka and swimsuit miyako.

I originally looked up the game because of the Karin and Asuna bunny figures Good Smile Company put up for pre-order lol, weirdest way I've ever found a mobile game that I turned out to enjoy!
(I didn't order the figures BTW because budget, but they just looked really cool so I looked up where they were from :)
If you are trying to stay more wholesome dont look up too much about them, however if you dont mind that stuff they are everywhere and its spicy

tldw pick: himari, ako, iroha, ̶k̶o̶h̶a̶r̶u̶, shun (pvp), ui
why did i cross out koharu, well cause she is free!
some other notes that guitar rock glossed over or missed on the non free characters
atsuko: she is one of 2 aoe striker healers worth using. can be considered as core for [spoiler] raid
kokona: she does good single target healing, and has cost reduction. very good striker healer
basuna: she is more often used for her defense down and cost gen (bond gear) than her damage
mine: another aoe defense down, and high value unit for both greg and [spoiler] raids. otherwise she is a good old red defense tank you can use when you need that role
tsukuyo: she often comes along on those yellow damage insane/torment raids where the boss throws CC at you. she also has the second strongest defense down in the game, but its only affect medium sized enemies (hiyori has the highest but you need 2 other arius members to get her to do it)
how do you keep up on jp meta? what source do you use?
Can you do a new player guild. New and confused by a lot of stuff.
You can farm Iori in hard stages, and Koharu in Total Assault shop. So I wouldn't go for them.
While you are correct, if someone doesnt have Iori yet and already has Ako and Himari it could actually be worth it to get Iori. It takes ages to farm Iori shards and if you have been doing so you might be able to 4 or 5 star her with elepha straight away, which is nice.
Update on my pulls. Got both in 50 pulls. My sacrifice I made for shiroko was no in vain. Just need swimsuit hanako I'll be golden.
Atsuko is a good choice too though, shes the best tank to bring for the new raid.
I need a good Explosive Damage Dealer, I have Wakamo Haruna Iori Ako Himari but I have not a good Explosive Damage Dealer which one would you recomend?
You can farm Aru eventually, so maybe bunny Toki?
Considering I have a Wife who has major crit issues, Ako was the easiest choice ever
I'm going to purchase the recruitment ticket later on in the year. Taking my chances with other banner/ 6x anniversary banner hoping they spook me. My list is pretty much your list with the exception of any farmable units.
Striker = Cherino, Iroha, Kokona, Shun (adult), & Ui
Special = Ako & Himari

Yes, Hod is the one you use stun characters on.
Chesed is the raid with the waves of mob clearing
(6:12) How can you not have Saya Casual yet? BlueSechi and the other animators have a running joke where Saya pops up instead of such and such character. Instead of finding it funny, it hits home hard since I've gotten her like 4 times so far.

Honestly I think you're underrating Nonoka HotSpring; she has great uptime and can heal multiple targets. Everyone loves Koharu to heal from striker position but honestly unless you're hurting for which specials to bring she's pretty soft and will die quickly unless you're a repositioning chad in the raids. If you don't have Tracksuit Mari she's more worth consideration if you need more healing imo.
Everything else seems like solid advice, I might just grab Himari since she hasn't come home yet or bunny Asuna because I don't have enough bunnygirls ._.
(Ui + Cherino or Hina = insane AoE dmg 😈)

Sure that could definitely work but you might still need a healer that's where striker healer comes in - Koharu, Kokona & Tracksuit Mari is the best one.

Don't believe those people that will tell you to just pull on limited 3* banner because you can get nonlimited 3*... It's a lie because the number of nonlimeted 3* increases making it harder to get a specific 3* unless you pull them on their banner.

I mean, it does not hurt you to save the ticket for after the pulls are done...
I just got himari so I can have 24k for bunny neru and for dress Hina’s festival banner; just eliminated the need to pull during her banner so I can save 6 weeks worth for gems

Guys, Kokona or Iorha? I have no idea who to go for, other characters I already have.
Tough choice. You would probably use Iroha more, but a second decent striker healer is nice to have especially if you wanna do Torment in future. Iroha will have a rerun banner in 6 months time, whereas I dont think Kokona has any known banners coming up as she just had one.
Iroha is one of the main reroll targets so get her.
Iroha is very useful in PvP if you don't have Swimsuit Mashiro or Swimsuit Shiroko.
If you’ve already cleared main campaign and have a good pvp team, Iroha doesn’t have much use aside from carrying weak specialized students in event quests.
Kokona could be easily replaced by Koharu in most cases aside from Heiro raid.
Just like the video suggested you should wait for S.Hanako banner just in case you get spooked by either.
I bought Saori because she was the reason I downloaded the game, I don't regret it even if she's not that good lmao

Ui is good for cost reduction. Sure the EX cost at 5 seems high, but once you upgrade the skill to level 3, the cost reduces to 4, and at skill level 5 it's only cost 3. Must have if you want to use 6-cost EX dps students like Hina, Mika, Hinata (regular), etc

Anniversary students are not included, so no to Mika, Wakamo, or S. Hoshino. That said all three should be in the same banner as S. Hanako so you have your chance there.

It'd be good to note about S.Hanako's banner, though, that *pull rate for Wakamo / S.Hoshino / Mika is 0.3% each.* Also, *you cannot spark S.Hoshino or Mika.* (Wakamo's banner will run alongside S.Hanako's, so she can be sparked ー thanks @uohhhcunny for correcting this)
Mika's the best single-target piercing DPS, so obviously get her, but much preferably when you can guarantee you get her, like sparking on her banner, whenever it'll inevitably rerun. (it'd royally suck if you dumped, say, 36k+ pyroxenes ー 300 pulls ー and didn't get her, even though that's kinda to be expected)
If she spooks you, you're lucky, but if not, don't fret too much over it.
At least, that's what I'd recommend.
