- In this video we dive into our public land experience in Kansas chasing Pheasants and quail. We found ourselves caught in a blizzard that dropped the temperatures down to around -22 degrees, and we had a lot of land to cover.
This was an amazing experience that we got to endure, and we were rewarded with a few birds at the end of the tunnel!
Thanks for watching!!!
Perfect statement on our society and how you walk through it. The only barriers are our own. So glad there are small film makers like you, Tight Loops, Wild Fly, etc.
Thanks man! That is a very honorable list of filmmakers to be included with.
Thanks for your kind words!
So true! Stunning country
Thanks mark! It really is crazy country in its own unique way!
I couldn't agree more with what you said about not having the fanciest, newest gear, or conditions being perfect. Sure those things are awesome, but sometimes you just gotta nod your head, call for the gate and have an adventure!
Yeah I agree! A lot of people miss out on opportunities because they are afraid of failure! Just gotta send it!
Nothing like a well earned wild bird on public ground. To me it's like a 175 mature whitetail. Love the vid. Just got a subscriber.
Thanks Eric! We agree, I think I would rather shoot those birds over a 175 WT. but to each their own, truly a special way of hunting, working on the border collies bird skills everyday getting ready for next season now!
Thanks for the sub we really do appreciate it more then you know, especially now that we are striking out on our own full time! It has been a blast!
God bless and hope to see you around!
Another great story! Great job man!
Thanks man! I’ll give you a ring after I get back from freezing my butt off again in Montana!
@@CalledCollectiveMedia Sounds good man! Stay warm! Looking forward to it!
Love the music selection!
Thank you my friend! Is everything well with you?
@@CalledCollectiveMedia yes sir! Lots of transition in life rn, haha but yeah I hope to be back to making some videos soon!
@@BlueLinerMedia haha well good deal! Hope to see out soon and we will be praying for your transitions!
That looked like An incredible experience! job well done!
Thank you my friend!
That looked like a cold but awesome adventure brother! Love the colors on those birds, someone got some new fly supplies lol..Awesome job on the vid as always Cole can’t wait to see the next one!
Haha oh yeah! I’ve been collecting all the different feathers from these birds!
Hunts like this will be remembered over the easy ones. I can remember the 5-6 roosters that outsmarted me and my dogs over the past 15 years but I can't remember where I took a bird last month.
Thanks Is really good perspective to a new upland bird hunter!
Just took a look at your channel! Good stuff my friend!
An incredible adventure! Lots of great memories
Yessir indeed!
Great video guys. Took me back to my homeland. Good to see some birds being harvested.
Thanks Stacy! Hope we did your homeland Justice in this video!
This looked like an epic hunt that I am not sad I missed considering I would have been frozen solid😅
Incredible footage and message!
Hahaha this was definitely a great comment! Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know a thing lol
You gonna tie up some flies with those feathers? 😍
Oh you better believe it my friend!!!
Already on it!
Would you mind sharing what cameras you use?
Everything in this was shot on a Sony a7iii!
What kind of dog are you running man?? I run a 3 yr male Brittany and a 9 yr female Brittany
Haha I was running a border collie haha… by no means is she perfect for it but she did cause enough chaos to get the birds moving..
Where are you based out of?
@@CalledCollectiveMedia southwest Kansas! It’s a down year but I get out once a week, got about 15-20 roosters and about the same amount of quail on the year for myself
@@bradenrupp9571 ahh man that is awesome though. We may have to connect next time I’m in the area!
