Hunting for Pheasants and Quail : Kansas : The 50 State Pursuit

Episode 3 of the 50 State Pursuit takes us to the heartland of our Country. The rolling plains of Kansas. In this episode we take to the public land across the state with people who regularly hunt here. Chasing after pheasants and quail can feel like finding a needle in a literal hay stack when you look out across the grass prairie. With the help of a couple of well trained bird dogs mixed with general knowledge of the habitat, hunter can begin to find success.
