this explains why my head has been dipping so much in the backswing. ive seen videos of instructors really emphasizing getting left shoulder down and as an amateur i really had a wrong understanding of it and over did it

if you are coming over the top, watch the loop video, you will likely not fix the over the top by thinking about the trail shoulder =)
