The fact of the matter is that when asked who deserves to be in the Champions League more, it's clear that a team that constantly tries to better itself and that growth is evident deserves the UCL more than a team that is living off the success of its passed. The single thing that Arsenal has developed over the last decade is a small team mentality because their results are unpredictable. They lose to small, bottom-tier clubs, and celebrate as if they won the UCL when they beat a top 4 team. A team that deserves to be in the top four or at least regarded as one of the elite clubs in the Prem is a team that has the high likelihood of winning majority of its matches and one that comes through when it needs to. Fair enough, Tottenham might just be as inconsistent and unpredictable as Arsenal, but at least the chances of Tottenham winning majority of its matches is higher than that of Arsenal and Tottenham actually wins when it needs to, at least a hell of a lot more than Arsenal. Arsenal doesn't deserve the UCL, not now and based on recent history that won't change for a long time from now.
And arsenal have still won more trophies in the last decade.. in one of our worse periods in our history!! Just shows the levels reallly!! 🤷🏾♂️

At the moment Spurs edge Arsenal based on their front players. Tottenham have invested in a 60000 seat stadium to improve their UCL prospects. They lost UCL final in 2019. Same year Arsenal lost Europa final and finished a point behind Spurs. In last 10 years Arsenal have won 4 FA Cups. Been in several finals and semi finals. League has fallen away. Can't argue that. Arsenal invested in 2003 with Emirates development. Way ahead of Spurs. Arsenal have dominated Spurs since 1987. Check back. It was inevitable Spurs would pull back at some point. It did take best part of 30 years. I agree Spurs are a big club. They are also the biggest underachieving club in British football. Spurs have 3 trophies in 30 years. Before you hold up Spurs as this bastion of achievement you need to research.
@@leebush4053 First off, I never said anything about Spurs being a "bastion of achievement". My comment was more of a response to Arsenal fans going on about "we deserve the UCL more than Spurs!" Yes Spurs is underachieving, yes they make questionable moves, and yes we haven't won a major trophy for years, but when we are talking about the several past performances that Spurs had at the UCL, they've been a lot better than Arsenal. Arsenal can't move past the round of 16 and this was during the years that Arsenal won the FA Cup. So for Arsenal fans to come and say, "look at us we deserve it more because we win pointless trophies", is ridiculous and frankly delusional. Before you say, "Spurs fans should stfu because they would go crazy if they won the FA cup at least once". Yeah, we might go crazy for winning a trophy, any trophy, but unlike Arsenal, we will not use it as a reason for why we deserve the UCL more. Our overall, season-long performance will decide that and for Arsenal, I think even Arsenal fans have to agree, that their performance has been at best trash.
