I legit laughed a lot while Mrs Shim was reading the story book😂😂😂😂😂😂😂i mean who wouldn't laugh at it😂😂😂
very typical Asian grandmother 👵 and i can see that other might find it offensive but what she said to Jin os nothing ccompare to what other grandmother said to us (Asian) and they not even our 👵 😂😂😂
They are just like kdrama 😂 too mean 🤐😫
Am l the only one who just laughs because l find it funny because she is old now and she really is just saying what it's on her mind as a granny😂😂
Ooh thank God she only nags about Jini not cooking....I was tensed up a bit when she asked about how long they hv been married because knowing Asian culture, the next question usually would be about having children. I was so relieved when she only ask and nag them about cook instead of kids....
Yeah same. If you're single, Asian grandma/mom would force you to married. And the next thing they're gonna start questions about children. I'm glad only foods get question here
The whole segment of ms shim n jini is literally the funniest I hav been laughing nonstop🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think Mrs Shim meant well and it’s more of grandmotherly nagging on her part haha albeit harsh, I think it may not be an overstatement to say that many Asian grandmothers nag a lot like that XD I take it to be endearing that she cares for them and is emphasising the importance of her beliefs.
It's very easy to tell who didn't have an asian upbringing in the comments. 😂😂 y'all are too weak if this is considered harsh. Most of us see this as normal conversation because in our culture we rarely have "oh sweetie.. oh honeyyy how are you?" And then kiss kiss. Nopeeee. Ours are like DO YOUR HOMEWORK. WHAT TIME ARE YOU COMING BACK. YOU THINK THIS IS A HOTEL??? DONT COME BACK THEN! SAY THAT AGAIN. trust me once you are raised like this all these comments don't even seem harsh anymore. Ya'll needda toughen up geez😂😂
Agree
Agreeeeee
totally agree
no , i am an arab we got nagged, scold and beaten, but my mum or grandma will never do that to someone child ,she is just rude and bossy,if she did that to me and my grandma was there ,she would probably tell her to shut up and not stick her nose were it doesn't belong
Funny how I’m asian and was brought up in an asian country and household yet I find Mrs Shim’s words harsh.
Y’all just weren’t brought up with respect OR were brought up in an old fashioned asian environment. In my family, no matter if we’re old or young, if it’s wrong, we speak up.
However with this being said, we would stay silent if whoever that’s being disrespectful is older AND not related to us. So if I was Jini I wouldn’t speak up because who are we to correct strangers or acquaintances. Mrs Shim is just plain disrespectful but because she’s the oldest most of the time, she feels like she has the right to say things like this.
Also y’all might think I’m taking it seriously but I just speak like this hhhhnng I’m just expressing my views
Ms. Shim you are great. Jini trying not to laugh during story time, it would be worth it for Ms. Shim to cook for you. Yum
Since the first time I saw Mrs Shim on the show, I think she has become a lot more open minded and understanding 😂😂 and this segment was hilarious
I literally said "oh my god" along with hyunmoo hahaha
lmao i watched the videos on jini’s channel and they turned out so well!! kudos to their editing team, no wonder they work so hard 🥺
Ms. Shim can't do a story telling lol! This segment kinda remind me of my grandma, she was so good at it.
Haha Ms Shim is a bit harsh here. Pity Jini 😅
I love Ms Shim! She has funny remarks
Well considering how mrs shim is, the mother and grandmother must have of mrs shim must be stricter..well, we grows up watching them..its just that youngster nowadays has more access to internet and get to see diversity style of life which makes them creative and be more open minded..
Mrs shim is a normal nagging grandma, well..seen worse..hahahaha sometimes, thats how they expressed themselves but just not fit to youngster style..
Hmmm... Ms. Shim saying that she’d tell her son to leave cuz he’d die, but then later when they were watching saying that it’s fine for either girl or guy to make food as long as they had a healthy breakfast... 🤔 shouldn’t her son be able to make a breakfast then, and thus wouldn’t die in that situation? Sensing some hypocritical beliefs on her side here 😓 Not that that’s surprising of an asian grandmother lol
On the contrary, she is being understanding and kind towards Jini and not being hypocritical. She is giving Jini grace in light of her busy schedule. She apparently likes Jini a lot :)
Did you misinterpret her comment? She said I’d tell my son to leave as in leave the room they’re eating in (the Korean word for leaving a marriage is different from leaving a room). Old people can be quite prejudiced but no need to project your own prejudices on them...
Honestly I just find her so funny ahaha. My grandmother actually dotes on me and my siblings a lot but I can imagine my mum being like this when she gets old
I was so gloomy today and didnt even smile until i watched this video
Mrs. Shim is sooo funny 😄😂😂
once again CEO Jang to the rescue xD
OMG I DIED WHEN SHE STARTED READING THE STORY BOOK LOLLL
Lmao, unpopular opinion: being asian or having the most asian experience shouldnt give a free pass for disrespect.
Damn right.. I’m asian and the way Mrs Shim is acting, is absurd...
Hiba Naveed every culture is different and we don’t get coddled it’s like that in Hispanic culture. My grandmother will turn to me and say oooo ou too fat lose weight. It’s culture
Sarah Changbin I feel like just because you are okay and can handle it so Can I. It shouldn’t be normalized cause it does bring more harm then a laughter in the name of culture. Yes I am not aware of hispanic culture but people with color do have elders who speak freely. I get what you mean, I have faced it too and it doesn’t bother me but still the cycle continues and then god knows we might be saying it too💀.
nice
6:16 - "Chuno" to Hey Jini? 😄😄
Oh may gwadddd, hahahha
Mr. Shim should realize she has no right to say that to Jini. Comments like dude should divorce Jini is rude and disrespectful. She uses her age to act superior, but she crossed the line this time.
I hope I didn't get mother in law like Ms Shim in temhe future 😌
song at 6:15?
that's stigma by Yim Jae Bum
Old people usually nags a lot. I'm an asian and it's pretty normal but the way she said "If he were my son, I'd tell him to leave" is quite offensive. No wonder God gave her daughters only, imagine if she has son poor her daughter in law. Her son-in-laws are lucky enough to married her daughters bcs they're trained to be a perfect wife
She's needs to learn to tone it down sometimes ha ha its aint your problem, why you nagging so much
You are for sure not asian
This is normal LOOOL
@@snowangeliquexx im asian my grandma wasnt like this 🤨, not every asian is rude
Imagine the muscle crew visit mrs. shim
They have alr
❤️ for Ms.Shim
Typically asian traits..😂 😂 😂Since i was raise in my grandmother i fine it hilarious 😂 😂 She's like my grandma. Scolding me whenever i made mistakes
LOL Jini got owned
this grandmgrandma is sooo scary
SO FUNNY
what the hell is wrong with ms shim!? it's not like the husband will die , like at least they ate cereal for breakfast and it's better than nothing
Lol I'm guessing ur not asian? This is just typical elderly nagging. Very normal, it's like a elder's way of showing affection😂
@@tomisakura123 ya...I'm starting to get iritated by these comments, the grandma is just being a typical asian grandma
This is like a documentary on fuckin intergenerational trauma right here. Ugh.
Lol
yeah now I'm officially not a fan of ms shim, u don't know them personally so that was really very uncalled for...there's certain boundaries and you're now just going way over them. that was both rude and uncalled for in my opinion. Seriosuly telling him that his wife is not a good 'wife' for not cooking breakfast right to his face IN FRONT OF HER was just outright belittling them on their decisions and lifestyles TOGETHER. What a thing to tell a married couple honestly, she should be encouraging them not telling the husband if it were in her hand she'd have him divorce.
She is kind of typical Asian Mom/Elder which I believe most of us hate to see about. And Asians do give Elder alot of priorities. We listen to their nagging and many uncomfortable comments, instead of feeling offended, i believe most of us will just endure it through ^.^"
@@xShinjiWong I get that and I do know that culture in Asia as I do have it too but then again she does not know them personally (not even elated) so I think she kind of went too overboard, not everyone has time in the morning and Korean food takes a while to make.
Different culture. The couple isn't over-sensitive and can take the comments from elders.
xShinji Wong agree! Asian grandparents tend to be harsh in nagging but we know they have our best interests at heart ^^
If you got offended by that youre a snowflake. Thats just a tip of the iceberg in most asian countries, mother-in-laws are exponentially rude than that and they mean it. I dont support those kind of stereotypical actuation but sadly its a norm to live next to your inlaws especially when youre the wife
I'm scared XD
👌👌👌😏😏😏😏
no matter how old u are where ever u might be thats not a way to respond/treat a guest. even if those were jokes...its meant to be funny for both side not only one. They might laugh becuj there on camera...they might not feel offended...but they sure do feel uncomfortable .
엄청 웃겨
Ms shim is so honest, it’s so refreshing!!!!! 심 사장은 너무 시원하다!!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Urgh.. The ending was so uncomfortable to watch
Ms. Shim is damn funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
SOP
Well .. when ur asian. And then ur mon scold u bec u cant cook even only to cook rice in the ricecooker .. it takes a whole live to hear ur mom scold u about that 😂😂 and when ur married and then u can not cook for ur husband, ur mother in law will scold u then 😂
할머니 보면 볼수록 비호감이네.. 내가 옆에 있었으면,, 개념을 국에 말아드셨나.. ㅉㅉ
first
Asian or not, elderly or not if it's rude it is rude.
