The UK’s real influence is in TT/aero equipment. AeroCoach, WattShop, Revolver, NoPinz, Drag2Zero, Vorteq, Endura, Rule 28…. Products from those companies are pretty common in the US, not to mention my basement.

Have 4 Orro in my garage. A Terra C, a Gold STC, an early rim brake Pyro and a steel fixie, Fe Street. Love all of them

I've recently bought an ORRO EVO,so far have been very impressed with it as definitely quicker than my old Felt all I've done to the bike is change the tektro cable disc set up for Shimano hydraulic system.

It's owned by Wiggle and started in France. Hopefully, the brand survives the Wiggle collapse.

I’ve heard rumours that Ribble are having financial difficulties. Could they be next to go bust?

I ordered some components which were manufactured in the far east nothing wrong with that as 95% of bikes and components are manufactured there and largely are of very high quality however if I put them on my bike frame, I live in the UK therefore according to these brands my bike is now British built its just trading on faux heritage much like brands such as Temple Cycles and others Ribble etc... Orro bikes developed in Sussex ( but manufactured in the far east ) .... its all marketing guff... I much prefer bike brands that don't try to pretend they're something which they're not... If I take the example of Stanton bikes it was always very clear if you were purchasing an MTB frame you could choose a UK manufactured ie. Pipes welded together or a frame that was put together, welded in Taiwan no ambiguity whatsoever also as already said Shand bikes in Scotland

Buy British, just don’t support any actual workers, bar a bunch of assemblers and “head office” staff.
What about Shand? Made in Scotland.
At least Mason and Condor have theirs made in Italy, and the Mason Raw is UK made.
    Ridiculous puff piece.

Anyone over the age of 50 can tell you that you are talking rubbish! Renolds is a German company! Trying to say that putting together foreign imported components is " manufacturing " is misleading!

Reynolds was owned by USA brand Coyote Sports but the last we heard it's very much returned to it's UK roots after a management buy out. It's headquarters and manufacturing is certainly in Birmingham. We personally don't think that the research, development, design, testing and assembly all happening in the UK is worth nothing and was the motivation behind this video.
