So dark squid went from being a Saturday morning cartoon villain to an anti hero? Times really have changed
Can't stay a villain forever, especially if it pays far less to be one, and being a Villain usually means good help becomes much harder to find.
It does not help that when she was a Villain, she considered her agents 'disposable', but here, her remaining troops had not only laid their lives on the line to help her, but still swear loyalty to her, and not out of fear, but because they honestly like her.
And Dark Squid has been implied to like having genuine friends.
Considering she ordered the release of Vamp (and convinced her to attack Splatsville soon after), I wouldn't call her an anti-hero just yet...

Dark Squid is such cool Villain in the AlexSpider animations she has gone from being Baddie to Anti-Hero and now to Anti-Hero to Baddie that you saw in the bonus clip at the end but who knows what’s Dark Squids vengeance plan will have in stall further on! Interesting story character spin off!
