How to select the length and width of slot antenna for a particular frequency? Is there any equation defined for it?
Why only H will have attenuation when it is propagationg along ground?
Why attenuation wont be there for E? 9:23
What is the effect of the thickness of the metal sheet? Does it continue to work as the thickness increases for example if the thickness is more than the slot width? Or even 2x or 3x the slot width? Does it become a waveguide when the thickness reaches a certain point?

Can you tell about directivity? to obtain input impedance of a resonant lamda/2 folded slot. which is approximately the directivity of this antenna?
I have seen about 5 to 7 dB directivity and that is considered as very good directivity
can you share some link for that idea? I would like to know how to get that value if possible. My professor ask weird questions for antenna subject. Thank you for your help and videos.
See I am talking to you based on my practical experience. You can reply in that way like slot antennas are not directional antenna. So max it's directivity can be 5 to 7 dB

At 5:08 u said in case of Dipole Antennas, placed horizontally, H has horizontal polarization...
But at 5:21, in case of horizontal Dipole, u showed E horizontally and H vertically...!
Polarization is orientation of E field, so for horizontal Polarization E is horizontal.
How to find gain of slot antenna
polarisation is for electric field , how is it happening in magnetic field?
when there's electric field, there's also magnetic field oppositely polarized, and same is of course true the other way around. it is called electro-magnetic radiation for a reason.
That should read "principle".
