I’ve got a 23 t680 and it’s been nothing with problems. The paccar engine came with bad injectors and the only thing they’ll do is clean them over and over. After 8 times in the shop and nearly going bankrupt my carrier finally got kenworth to replace the injectors but I just got a new set of the bad injectors. I’ve got 2500 miles on the new set and so far so good but it’s only a matter of time. I’d run from that truck. Get into something with a different motor. The 24 paccar is supposed to have the new design injectors they say.
There is no middle of the road with Paccar engines. You either get a really good one or a really bad one. 17k on mine and so far so good. It’s been treating me better than what I had in my Volvo that I turned in.
