Its not that good. check some better reviews, this is more like publicity than a honest review.
It is good to play older or indie games. There is definitely a learning curve, as you control the mouse with the right analog stick, but use the left and right shoulder buttons for mouse clicks, (while in mouse mode). The micro SD card slot is horribly unreliable, so you may want to get a low profile USB 3 flash drive instead. That being said, buying one has saved me several pounds on my everyday carry bag, and has spurred me to try many great older or indie games that I wouldn't have tried, otherwise.

Dude I'll be honest, when I first saw the thumbnails for some of your videos, I thought "pssssh this is clickbait", but goddamn when it comes to showing off cool shit that I didn't know existed you deliver big time. I thought the Switch VR and N64 repros were impressive, but when I saw Overwatch in the thumbnail on a handheld computer I immediately called bullshit, and I yet was wrong again. Awesome job dude. Mike Jones As I said, after watching this video I was impressed, but think of it this way: if Blizzard says it would be a challenge to get Overwatch running on the Switch, seeing a 3DS-sized computer run it seems pretty far-fetched. However, this video proved that it was in fact true. It's not a matter of close-mindedness, but rather educated doubt, so no need to be a dick about it. And as an update to my last comment, I have now purchased a GPD WIN and I am really enjoying it. I've been playing Smash 64 and Fire Emblem 4 and I am extremely impressed with it. Again, thanks for the video. :)

Id rather reccomend going with a used desktop system that has a I3 cpu or better 4 gb ram or more & then buy a graphics card like a gt 1030 as it can with some luck be the same cash if not barely more.

Good review! I bought one of these a few months back for about $300, I can NOT recommend it enough!! I was torn between this and a Switch, and I am soooo glad I took the risk and went with the less known company. Playing Dark Souls or Skyrim in the car is tons of fun, and my mother borrows it for ooold emulated games like Galaga often!

Never tried Overwatch. I have played Just Cause 2 and Far Cry 2, both on lowest settings, both around 30 FPS. I actually keep a pretty solid 30 FPS on even the medium settings on JC2. I get about 25~30 FPS on Skyrim and Dark Souls, but those both required a fair bit of modding.

Yoshimaniac This can run dolphin but you won't be able play games above 480p. The graphics card is weak. Some GameCube games will run at 60fps if you configure the settings. Games like Mario Galaxy among other Wii games are unplayable though

Dolphin is CPU intensive as all hell, so with a passmark score of under 2,000, I'd assume that it wouldn't do too well
To compare, my Macbook's processor scores around 4,000
I've been thinking about buying one of these for a bit now, now that I have the switch I didn't think I really needed one... but now I do!

Im curious for an answer, why isnt this machine so mainstream? Its clearly OP compares to switch, VITA, gameboys or any other handheld devices out there. I mean the variety of games, the price, the feature is almost spot on? What are the non obvioous drawbacks, like average screen, battery life? What excite me is the potential this GDP WIN device has in 2-4 years time, why hasnt Sony or Microsoft done something like this, its a no brainer?!

Kye Gunvolt this thing stutters with Skyrim (original version) at low settings 30fps.. I don't think switch users are too threatened. I mean this is a neat gadget and maybe a future version will be a lot stronger but as of now I'm not too impressed.

It's slightly weaker but games are much cheaper. The Switch version has dynamic resolution change in handheld mode, if you set it to 540p on the GPD Win it'll run above 30fps consistently. If you compare $5 of the PC version of Skyrim as opposed to $60 on Switch, and then the PC version can have all the PC mods... Let's just say I have no interest in the Switch version of Skyrim.

I used to keep up with PS3/PS4 XB/XB1 and all that but I eventually realized I was only utilizing my Wii/Wii U and PC.
Nice, I was considering making a (semi)portable out of the steam link but this does look more useful. Having a pocket PC would suit my desire to program from anywhere.

I like to think the next succesor will be called "Nintendo HDS"
and it would be basically a New 3DS XL, but the sides are joy-con, like the Switch, and is a bit bigger, but has a pretty powerful hardware to compensate that, and a better C-Stick that doesn´t hurt your fingers anymore.
By the way, the DS is the portable game system most sold yet, they shouldn´t leave the main concept anytime soon.

Noble_Hologram Even if you did, the Atom CPU and low RAM would be a bottleneck for the system. You'd get decent increase in performance, but at a point it would cease getting better and you'd be wasting potential.

Sooooo worth it I bought it and am so blown away.this thing is day and night difference compared to the 3ds being able to play a lot of games you’d at least need a switch to play,but this thing probably does it better.Not to mention hd,pc games,ENDLESS nearly perfectly running emulators of pretty much anything you can think of

ahhyeah16 well if you watched the video and have played Dota, you'll know that you can but sure as such wouldn't want to. The mouse is controlled by an analogue stick.
Lemme break that down for you.
Want to cast a spell then run away? You have to drag the mouse at a set speed between each location. Want to eat a tree, deny a creep then run under your tower? That's like 4 clicks in a matter of seconds and it's going to take alot longer because it's ya know, an analogue stick. Maybe for easy bot matches but certainly not actually playing online.
I'm not hating on it but the only thing it has going for it is that it's small but if you're not using it as like a phone I would definitely not suggest it except that it's A LOT cheaper then again it's your choice and money not mine

You can get a great, cheap case for this little handheld, if you search for a "molle pouch" on ebay - should be under $4 and has enough room for the unit, charger, and USB type C cable.

one usb 3. you will enjoy a usb hub of some sort. Also has bluetooth, so a bluetooth keyboard is also possible!

the left side is directinput, not digital input. directinput is an old standard from before xinput (xbox controller input) was a thing, and a lot of older games like gta sa will only function with directinput.
U can also install the Xbox one app to stream games from your Xbox as long as both ur Xbox and gpd win are connected to wifi and they're on.
This will be sweet for my college classes.

For those of you that want to play dolphin there is a way to make it run better using an older different build than the current one.

I don't have this (I would love to though), but I can totally imagine Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes being an awesome time on this. Mainly because the game works masterfully with portability, and the PC version has mod support. I just wish VR would could work with this. Then it would the definitive way to play the PC Version.
