  • This is the story of Taguide Picanerai, the son of an Ayoreo Chief who is on a mission to protect the rights of his father’s people, a group still living un-contacted in voluntary isolation.
The Ayoreo are the indigenous people of the Gran Chaco and are composed of around 5,600 members who mainly live in dense, scrubby forest in Paraguay and Bolivia. Since their first contact with white people in the 1940s, they have suffered continual invasions and many have been forced to abandon their homes due to deforestation.
Here is a young man’s plight to protect one of the world’s most endangered uncontacted tribes and its ever-vanishing natural habitat...
Documentary: “Konnected - Paraguay, What if you could go back?”
Direction: Eli Laliberté & Steven Martin
    Production: Groupe PVP

forcing people off of their lands, and to become Christian is not Christian, Jesus did not force people to believe.

I feel this is a disgrace to the so called educated man. A disgrace to their greed and unthoughtful behaviour. Leave the indigenous people alone. Let them protect nature for the benefit of all human in the world. Let them protect the forests and greenery for all mankind.

It's amazing how they allowed missionary people to make them attack other people in the forest. A Bible can be hell sometimes.

There is an american missionary institution named linguistic summer institute, they learn indigenous languages to do just that, dividing communities, destroying traditional culture

that time of colonisation and invadores did a lot of destroying to some cultures - yes, some saing it was good to do, but was it/is right???
Globalisation kills the unique diversity of cultures - its only my humble opinion. UNESCO world heritage tries to keep some of them alive
great documentary, Thanks to you SLICE, i am always exciting to have a posting from you 💝

Historically accurate to say the roman empire set up the catholic church. After the endless coverups priest to child sexual abuse that travesty brought me endless distain for the institution. Very much so and many others too. Don't have much else to say about the catholic institution

Pentecost happened to Jews, the first Christians were so FULL of the Holy Spirit and GOD'S love inside of them that they were willing to die before denying their Master and so it was for decades. No one knew what a "Catholic" was. They did KNOW the Christ and were called Christians. The true religion comes through the GRACE of CONVERSION.
