  • working in a court yard garden giving two old pergolas a new lease of life. using treated timbers in 6"X2" and 4"X2"
    using a DeWalt impact driver, drill and battery circular saw.
    the top screws are 150mm long bolt headed frame fixers

    Nice job! I do admire your smart approach to dismantling and re-assembling section-by-section, so that the wisteria stayed in place. 🤓👍

      @@TheCountryCottageGardener Ours has the luxury of being positioned on a lovely south facing wall. We have others that are a little ways off flowering yet 😀

      Your too kind pal. I do a bit of wood working on the side with making furniture and home decor items from oak whiskey barrels. Love working with wood

    That was interesting Chris, nice one. You have a large skill set, have you worked in the building/carpentry trade before becoming a gardener?

      Hi James. Thanks for the kind comment. No before self employment I worked in sales mostly. Although I do have my second small business turning oak whiskey barrels into home decor and furniture items. I love working with wood. Thanks for watching 👍

      Wasn't that to much of a bother really. Moving materials and that one corner was the hardest bits. Started at 9:30 done by 2:40. Thanks for watching 👍
