    Daymak's Beast , is an all-new off-road eBike, completely designed and created in Canada. The Beast is also street-legal, allowing riders to enjoy it on the trails, in the woods, on a farm, camping, on a mining camp, on rough terrain, or in the city. Main features include a Daymak solar panel and an enclosed battery pack that recharges continuously.
    Fully electric, the Beast can go as fast as 32km/h (20mph) with up to 45 km (25 miles range. It is quiet, economical, good for the environment, and can take the rider anywhere they want to go. The enclosed solar panel battery case gives 5 distinctive advantages. First, the battery is always trickle charging thus avoiding the number one failure of all ebikes which is battery failure due to prolong time of no charging. Second, the solar panel yields about 10 km / 6 miles range per 10 hours of any day light. If the rider does not ride more than 40 km/25 miles a week he never has to plug it in to charge the battery. Third, lower cost of charging. Fourth, less carbon foot print, and finally, the removable battery pack can be used as a back up generator since it comes with 2 USB plugs.

    Monocrystalline panels wont charge worth a darn when partly shaded, you need to use thin film/ silicon, yes it will require a larger surface area, but even if limited to the surface area you are currently using they would charge the device better especially in low light conditions and significantly reduce the weight leading to longer run times.

    Reminds me of the old scooters with pedals - they to you could barely pedal. This is electric so way cooler, would love to hit some bush trails with this nice quiet......beast! I go out on gas atv's and hate the noise.
    Cheers

      these still have pedals just in case you want to use them but we think using the electric motor is a whole lot more fun! :) If you ever want to convert from your gas atv to something quieter we would be happy to help you with that!

    I love this, very cool and definitely style. However, as a female, being a bit smaller than the male on this video, the handrail and the seat seem a bit far, for me to reach over with uncomfortable back arch? The female in the video don't look very comfortable as well? I wonder how comfortable it is if your arms don't extend as far as the males in this video.

    Two things that concern me are that the seating position looks like its too far from the bars to be comfortable to pedal, and also with the kind of tires it uses they have a high rolling resistance making it more difficult to pedal and consume more battery power. Looks interesting though I'll be waiting to see some reviews from owners once they get produced.

    • @HigzyTeflon
      @HigzyTeflon Před 9 lety

      daymak2011 So it goes 32 Km/h is what you're saying?

    • @DaymakEbikes
      @DaymakEbikes  Před 8 lety +1

      +Higzy Teflon ... Yes, on the street as a legal ebike, you are restricted based on your local laws. Off road, that is not the case.

    The only real problem I see with these looking at them, the seat is too far away from the handle bars.
    Also not much good in the UK all that bike and only allowed to go 15 mph.

    • @DaymakEbikes
      @DaymakEbikes  Před 7 lety

      Its kind of the style with these units. If you try one you'll realize its not that far.

    • @flitsies
      @flitsies Před 7 lety

      Well to be honest I ride motorcycles and electric bikes, and this the way it is set up looks very unstable, if the arms are locked out as they seem to be on this you struggle to keep control due to the shift of the centre of gravity because you are leaning over.
      Far better to have a well balanced bike than an unbalanced one, it hurts so much when you fall at speed, and bones don't heal as fast as a replacement part can be fitted.
