'No smoking' was a great movie with an innovative script and John played that role really well. The movie was ahead of it's time (2007) and definitely worth the watch even to this date. He has proved he is a versatile actor who steps out of the stereo typical roles, apart from the action he has also shown his flare in method acting as well. By a fellow proud mallu : )

He is here in industry for more than a decade now and nothing improved in his acting accept those senseless Shouting and shirt less scenes. But you see how big mouth he is and talks about everything except the art of acting. His recent failures should have humbled him but he is that narcissist who will go on and on.
First, he has been in the industry for 2 decades . That's 20 years. Many had begun their acting career along with John but only few have survived till date. That does speak about his capability as an actor. And if you are talking about his acting, then you need to watch his proper movies where he has "acted" properly.
