Having watched so many episodes of Bombay Journey, I don’t think I have seen any other actor/actress be so down to earth and chill! The way he just randomly started speaking to other people, like the autowala, posing for pictures to the kids outside, waving at fans or speaking to the security guard about taking care of a dog he randomly saw! Genuine John Abraham! I have a become a fan of you bro! 🙏🏼👍🏼🙌🏼

Super spontaneous and real interview! I worked with John in his first ever TV commercial for OCM where I was an Asst Director and he was friendly, sweet, humble and so professional. Years later he recognises me as I was walking down a road in Bandra.. stops his car and chats with me . As warm.. unaffected and grounded as always❤️✨Gem of a man. This interview nailed who he is.

I love the stories in the comments about people meeting John and saying he’s genuinely just a nice guy. That makes me happy internally. I don’t really care about his filmography but I know I respect the man because of how committed he is to his values, how he was raised, his relationship with dogs, and the fact that he is self-aware.

No one "becomes" a boomer. It's decided by the era they were born. John is Gen X. Yes he is aging if that's what you are trying to say. But he looks a lot better than his age and he's never been in to social media much anyway.

This is undoubtedly the best episode of Mashable india till now...John is so intresting, i never knew..He is so down to earth.
'No Smoking' is my favourite Anurag Kashyap and John Abraham film. Nothing comes close when it comes to the sheer ambition, treatment, ingenuity and narrative scope. I believe 'No Smoking' is much more relevant today, under the current regime. It came way ahead of its time, and naturally, a minuscule part of filmgoing audience was ready for such an experiment: starring a leading man of commercial films. The inside jokes, the allegorical tone, the scathing political commentary, the odes to the masters of such films, the ambience, the music, and John as the protagonist collectively work wonders. And the cinematography. Special mention to Ranbir Shorey as Abbas Tyrewala. Uff.
Anurag Kashyap is a legend , even i loved NO SMOKING. John was brilliant ❤️🔥
