As a 60 yr old man....im a HUGE Dawn Staley fan. She was a beast in college and during her pro career. I am not ashamed to say i got teary and actually had to walk away from the TV because i would've started crying. Came here to watch it now that im more composed. So proud of her and her team. This can never be taken away from them.

This championship means a whole lot. It's very difficult to go undefeated the entire season and win a National Championship. They handled it with grace and class. Coach Staley's teams reflect her class and ezcelkence.

All five of the starters from South Carolina's team that was 36-1 last year left and Coach Staley was able to replace them this year, remake the roster, and wind up 38-0. An undefeated season and winning the national championship has cemented Coach Staley as a Hall of Fame coach! This is her third national championship victory!!!! Congratulations!

This is exactly why I've always loved the women's game. Never understood the hate women's sports get. Let the ladies shine!!!!
Usually one team gets all the best players such as SC did and has been. UCONN was this way in the past. CC was a rarity in that she stayed in her home state. So it's just not fun to watch one team with all WNBA players that can play only 20 min a game destroy teams that have to develop their players and struggle to recruit and have to play their players the entire game to hope to match up to the big money teams. I mean Iowa's players played 36 min on average. CC played the whole game. She was dead.

Wow amazing performance by the south Carolina Women team this afternoon was a tough and physical and mental game tonight but by the end of the clock they came out in top.Hopefully they will win the championship this year. Great contributions tonight and efforts from Ashlyn,Kamilla ,Te-hina, Raven Johnson and Tessa Johnson tonight.But for me the MVP player goes to Tessa Johnson her 19 points lead South Carolina to the victory and prevented them from being eliminated. But on the defense end this afternoon was a big and great game coming from Kamila her 15 points and 17 rebounds This is a great night for Gamecocks fans and Dawn Stanley as well.
