They can’t because ESPN, and Powers of Being got too much invested in Caitlyn, they over hyped “CC” and “AR” to much. They needed “CC” to win today when the game should have been between Carolina and Paige with UConn. We all saw “AR” how big of a liar and dirty player she turned out to be.

When you have 5-star recruits on the bench and as clubhouse managers, how can you not win? The program recruits itself! Sad thing about women's sports is that you have these programs that dominate because the best players want to go there. My 2-year-old could coach and win with all-americans.

I'm not saying they don't deserve to win. They 100% outplayed us in that game. I'm saying the rhetoric used was entitled. Same with the "revenge tour" rhetoric. Painting Iowa as the villains is WEIRD, bro. They are competitors, not enemies. Even Clark and Angel Reese said that about one another. The game is about so much more than one championship game, and Clark is a mature woman who knows that. She has a legacy that will last long after her NCAA career is but a memory. And that takes nothing away from SC. Loving women's basketball as I have my entire life means having a longer view of things than one championship game. And btw, being 2nd place is nothing to be ashamed of either.

How refreshing it was to see this ESPN crew that was knowledgeable, articulate, and appeared to really enjoy the game as well as enjoying each other. They made my first time watching a tournament more enjoyable. Thanks

Idk if SC and UConn play in the regular season next year. They had a three year playing deal and SC took two of three of those games. I honestly thought UConn had the better chance of beating SC than Iowa did. But that’s not how the cookie crumbled. SC will be undefeated for a long time next year too. Can’t really see anyone beating them.

Before the game, everyone was talking about who's gon guard CC and how they gon stop her. In the end South Carolina played as a team and stopped CC as a team. When it comes to team sports, a team that play as a unit always has a better chance to win than a team relying on them stars.
Facts! I played high school and college basketball. That is logic 101 and when people realize that and over and over again, we see that a team who is all around normally wins the game. I saw it many times in North Carolina high school sports in the day when I used to coach little league basketball and would take the kids to watch high school sports and point it out to the fellows that this is the way you beat a star player without any true supporting cast. You shut down the star player and you normally win the game. I did it against Delaney Rudd in high school with a box in one and we beat them but when it came time to play against him on his home court my coach wouldn't allow me to play because of my safety concerns. It is what it is when it comes to sports. Like Bacot said for Carolina that people betting him and the Tarheels to win and it costed them money. People have been betting on sports for years especially men's basketball. South Carolina when back to the drawing table and realized that we must defeat Iowa and let them know that the South is the best of the best. You must put in the work to be the best and the late Kobe Bryant knew that and that is why he succeeded at the NBA level. He was an average dude who put in the work to become the success that he was.
