I just bought one as well within the past couple weeks shot it significantly at the range last week and was deeply moved by its smoothness and it’s ergonomics. The slide racks like it’s on ball bearings compared to other guns that I also own but the evaluation I personally can give is, this is the best 9 mm gun I’ve ever owned so far.
Just got my 226 x5 legion and i agree, it's sooo smooth and flat!
It's definitely comparable to my ds 1911's. Love it!

A CZ would still shoot better and have less recoil than this pistol.
do you know this or are you guessing? I'm asking because I'm buying one of those two mentioned and I haven't shot either.
@user-zj5sb2by5j You really need to get your hands on both guns if you can. I've owned both brands and now no longer own a CZ. (I had the CZ 75 Compact.) It shot very well and was smooth. The narrow slide style of the brand just didn't work for me vs the P226/9 and Beretta 92/96's that I own. Your mileage may vary.
@tigerman3 Do you have a Beretta 96? How's it been for you, is it holding up well, would you trade it for a PX4?
This gun has very light recoil impulse. I have a Staccato XC and this gun is not far off for half the price.
While the CZ is a very nice pistol, i would disagree with you on both your statements! Have you actually shot the X5 Legion?? This gun shoots as smooth as the Staccatto XC, which is hard to believe.......You should actually go rent it & shoot it sir......
