Sure I’m about 4 years late to this party but I just wanted to say thank you for your refreshingly honest review of this vehicle. I love the work you put into your video! Great job.
If Toyota put the V6 in this, it would be perfect.
Good and detailed review. Very impressive. Thanks.
I test drove a red 2014 Rav4 Limited two weeks ago. I surprisingly liked it a lot. It had decent power and relatively crisp steering. Might be my choice in this segment if it looked better like the Mazda CX-5. My local Toyota dealer (Marc Jacobson) also offers the lifetime power train warranty.
Thanks for a good honest review.
My sister now has a 2015 Toyota RAV4 XLE with AWD she loves it!!
A good looking and awesome car! What a good video.
Love the engine exhaust sound at 14;40! Great review and test drive. :) Do you think this is anywhere near as fun to drive as the new Escape and Mazda CX-5 are?
very nice reviewer.. likes to go into details. gj
that color is beautiful on that rav4 you have very good taste..... im inlove with it as well i have 2015 toyota corolla sport but this rav4 is fully beautiful
Thank you
This will be my next car!
that steering wheel feels really good to grab on though i agree....
Thanks 😘
Will you make a review for the GT86?
Please make a review for the new 2014 toyota 4runner
I heard the XLE and LE rode better with the 17" wheels. The XLE offers a great value for the money, probably the one most will go for.
Miss your videos at the auction where you pull apart the low quality plastic of the Toyotas.
BIG LIKE from IRAQI fan
Not too long along I test drove the new RAV4 and the new Cherokee. While I like the RAV4 for being simple and honesty, I prefer the Cherokee for being quirky and having character.
Hey great review, why don't you come out in 2theredline anymore?
Too far away from the team, don't have the fancy camera equipment & etc to reproduce a video of the same quality and current format 2RL follows, nor did I have access to a large variety of cars are some of the reasons. Other reasons include where I'd permanently reside as I've lived in 3 different states in the last 7 months. I am meeting 2RL at the NY auto show next month to discuss the future & etc as I'm in a comfortable place right now & around people who can help me. To me, the last few toyota reviews serve as practice as it's only now that I'm showing my face & that I'm in a totally different situation when it comes to accessing cars.
that ain't my gramma's Rav4. You really have to wonder how long all these electronics in new vehicles are going to cause havoc for mechanics in the future though. either way. I kinda like it!
how much is this will cost as second hand right now in good condition? 5 years old.
2011 and 2012 models had an electric steering
I miss the v6 option in the rav4
I Agree
how do you think the driving dynamics of this compare to the new CR-V? My aunt who is pretty much car aliterate drove both and thought the RAV-4's steering was way to loose and light so she went for the CR-V
That doesn't surprise me lol. Honda usually does a better job in the steering & handling arena. Eventually, I'm gonna run out of new Toyota's to tour & will end up hopping over to their Honda Store across the street. From there, I'll make the comparison when I tour a new CR-V
lol yea i agree my car has a very loose steering wheel as well but hubby handles it very well i love honda as well i have a 2015 toyota corolla sport but its my baby so its okay..... but yess do test drive a new crv that suv is beautiful....
2JZBobby gt
My sister is gonna to get a Toyota RAV4 she will even get a LE or a XLE model.
My new car. 2014 mitsubishi outlander se premium package. For 23,500.
A tail of two dashes 80's plasticky tacky top half modern bottom half. Check out Honda CRV 's latest offering for a perfect dash design.
and my car is much more comfertable and spacious in the back and the motor is very silent and feels amazing corolla sport i love love love it very much.....
which is louder? eco mode or sport mode? plz help
Vazzox FX ur mom
The third row seating on the Rogue is a joke. We test drove one this past weekend and my 8 year old who weighs 48 lbs and is like 50 inches tall barely had enough room to get back there. It just seems like a complete waste of time to put a 3rd row in this compact SUVs.
did you end up getting garlic bread eventually?
Very nice review! And also, you are cute! :)
I hate the orange in the tail lamps..
*****
Agreed, although I'm not used to seeing red indicator lights (thankfully). Having a lot of emergency vehicles in North America with only red lights isn't a great idea either.
I'd really like to see what you'd say about the 89-96 2 door k5/tahoe/jimmy/Yukon from GM, it's not all about the cup holders and bells and whistles, but you should stick to your little foreign cars if that's all you care about, real car guys don't only care about the interior, it's whats under the hood
Do u work at a toyota dealer now?
No but my BF has since last summer.
Looks like friedge or something made from WestingHouse
Did you move to Ohio?
yes
Toyota still just carrys over the same old engines and don't even have direct injection. Ugh great vid though
Honda CR-V
why do people feel they need a big and fast engine you dont need all that power for the city or the highway its not even that nessasary at all well atleast not for me its just rediculous..... smh
You use 5 periods, yet you don’t use any punctuation at all. You’re appalling!
extremely reliable exteremely ugly:)
These are so ugly and cheaply made my neighbor has one a 2013 and she's has had problems with her muffler being lose and shaking on bumps the dealer says it's normal they all come lose.. And plus it's so ugly
Toyota still sucks. It's ashame. You can see they are trying hard to compete with kia/hyundai to step up to offer more and make sexier cars. Unfortunately they cut alot if costs on materials and charge you for the options u want or force you to get the highest trim model. I have a completely loaded toyota venza my first and last toyota. U get the feeling in every toyota that they cut costs everywhere materials etc
Isis loves toyota
Bleh... looks like a Kia Sportage.
it competes with the kia sportage, so that makes sense
What a terrible sounding exhaust
Ugly interior, uncomfortable driving .like the Toyota venza much more
I really dropped myy jaw when i see this new rav4, its ugly as hell... wheres the old designer??? and wtf with the corolla and camery they all looks like shit too.
