We have that exact model and 4 years later it is the most comfortable car we have ever had including driving to Colorado. I have had it loaded up with grandkids and all have plenty of room and comfort. I have also had it loaded up from our nearest Costco that is 3 1/2 hours away with plenty of cargo space. Love my 2014 Rav4. I might add that it's awesome driving through winter snow and mud.
Was yours made in Canada? Some people says the ones that are made in Japan are more reliable. What's your thought? Also some people says the cabin noise can be quite loud. Is it true? Thanks, and have a nice day!
just hit 100K miles in mine. zero issues. first vehicle i have ever owned that didn't need anything besides fluids, tires, and brakes. toyota legendary reliability still lives on in this generation
I really like the looks of the Rav4, and love the Toyota reliability factor... It needs a couple more inches of ground clearance for it to be an option for me..
Personally, I find the automatic high beams annoying. We have them on the Lincoln MkTs that we drive where I work. Sometimes they are slow to go back to low beam. I'd just rather do it myself. I'm also disappointed with the design of the radio on the new RAV4. It's obvious from your review that sunshine easily washes out the display screen and makes it hard to read. Toyota should have put a hood over the screen (like on the Chevy Equinox) or recessed the entire screen so it wouldn't be affected so much by light hitting it. Pretty good review.
