This great 5 lap Wynns Sport Sedans & GT Scratch Race was held on the same day as Round 2 of the 1986 ATCC at Symmons Plains in Tasmania. Drivers included Greg Crick, Leon Burdon, Martin Sinclair (in his turbo Torana), Matthew Springer, Wayne Gaffney (in his rotary engined Toyota Corona), Stuart Salter, Andrew Farr, Steven Swain, Darryl Boyd and Michael Elliott.
These days Greg Crick runs a Honda/Jeep/Dodge/Fiat/Alfa Romeo/Chrysler Dealership in Invermay, Tasmania. gregcrickmotors.com.au/our-team/

Thank you for the video,i love these crazy races from yesteryear much better than the sanitary boring shit of today
1986. Cars and trucks all over the track and race continues. lol
(84 laps of todays Super V8's just puts me to sleep)
Move forward a few years and Greg Crick had the Elfin built Honda. Kerry Bailey had the Supra, both front running cars in the national scene. And Michael Elliot was a very quick budget racer as well.
I was at that meet and the only reason Sinclair slowed up was everyone started passing him under the red flag, he won the 1st heat as well and held the lap record for fastest 6cy intill Jan 2022 not a bad effort
How quick is that torana
Any footage of heat 1?
Would love to find any info on a red mini sports sedan from 85 Oran Park owned by The Mini Factory, cheers 👍
Symmons Plain had the starting grid on a curve - were there/are there any other circuits that have the same feature?
Terrible coverage of the events in this race from 7. A lot of things happened but you saw very little of it. But beggars can't be choosers and it's still good to see this stuff from yesteryear.
Yes, we never do see what caused the accident, must have been bad as the front of Gaffney's Corona is mostly missing. Thanks for your comment.
Super100MPH that corona never saw the track again after that accident either
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe .
