What a stunning piece of wood and that you can see see the majority of the edge is absolutely fantastic ... I'm not so sure about the base, but hey I'd live with it 😁 .... had to go back and listen to you talking about comments of the ring around the GL ... it was so obvious that it was the outline of a log, how they missed that and thought it should be circular is beyond me 👍

Willow!! We had a willow tree on the farm. It was the dirtiest tree I have ever seen. It had a very gnarly trunk. Never thought to look, when we took it down, if it was burl.
Are those surfboards standing against the walls? Were you able to bring Charlie on your trip? All in all, it is a beautiful table. My brother bought a red oak tree that was felled. After three years of drying, we made a bar out of it for his winery. It turned out beautiful. We took the tree to a old time steam thresher reunion. The wood was cut into slabs by an old steam powered mill. It was a blast. Can't wait for the next video.

Can you go into more detail of what you added to the BF furniture oil to make it penetrate the wood better?

How does the CA glue harden the wood and leave it porous enough for the finish oil to penetrate? I'm a bit confused how that works.
Being underneath the table makes me think of doing a smaller thin version of panels for a ceiling… just thinkin

Cam comes across like a desperate cars salesmen now days and a bad actor trying to make it in the acting business.its funny how he’s got the biggest woodworking channel on CZcams but Black Forest not even reached 400k yet and yet Black Forest are pushing out much better furniture.both charge way to much money for their tables especially cam from blacktail with his over priced tables and products he mentions every 5 min at least he’s stopped making them same old walnut and black epoxy tables now and he has finally learned how to polish resin but does N3 Nano really help I’m not so sure especially as osmo and Rubio both repel water anyway

the table is wobbling too much because of the base
I love black forest wood but this isn't their best work. The base is unusual and limiting in my opinion in terms of the number of people who can sit comfortably on the table. The logo is just not straight on the L, should have done a better job.. but love the color though and the feature of pouring clear resin
