What I REGRET about this Plant

  • Of course I have 1000 pots in every size EXCEPT for the one I need đŸ˜”â€đŸ’«
I never want to repot this plant again đŸ«  BUT I can safely say that the yellowing and crumbly leaves have stopped now that it’s in a slightly roomier pot with fresh soil designed for succulents. The chair trick also worked đŸ€Œ and I wasn’t left with a tangled hot mess.

I also check them before bed, but I don't start repotting anything. I tell myself that maybe they're trying to fall asleep and I shouldn't wake them up. Imagine having to move houses at night with no warning XD or waking up the next day in a different house

Last night I woke up at 3:00 am because I had a dream that my aloe plant was dying. I wanted to go check on it, but it was 3 am and I didn’t want to wake my family. So I spent 2 hours researching how to save aloe Vera from dying. As soon as the sun came up I went and checked on it. It was fine. I lost a lot of sleep that night.

Is it bad that I don’t use a plastic pot inside my pottery thingies, I just toss the dirt and plant in there? I make sure not to overwater since it can’t drain fully, but I do keep rocks at the bottom which creates a place for at least some drain

I always try to plastic nursery pots with drainage (and if I don’t, use a planter only with drainage) so I can with 100% certainly only water when the soil is dry. The rocks actually don’t provide drainage. It’s a misconception. Instead it only raises the water level keeping the soil constantly moist. While some can grow plants fine like this, I personally would be afraid of root rot so I avoid if I can.

my plant is dying but right underneath where the strings are they are drying up and I don't know why. I'm afraid it got too much sun. How often do you fertilize it?

I fertilize every watering with this: www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZMS3D8?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzohthepla-20&creativeASIN=B07CZMS3D8&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.2BHGB8LO4IUVC&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin
You can check the roots for your plant to examine what's going on.
