I’m sorry,as an old school Star Wars fan. Disney has done nothing but destroy this once great franchise. George Lucas had it all laid out and legends created cannon ,that was we had for decades. And buys it and doesn’t respect or follow stuff that was established cannon,for decades. Episodes 6,8,and 9 was already planned. The acolyte is a culmination and combination ,of bad writers and producers,that aren’t even Star Wars fans. The dialogue is horrible n the episodes seem to not go anywhere. Not only bringing ki adi mundi into it,which is a 100yrs before he was in the phantom menace. And he clearly says in episode 1,the Sith have been extinct for a millennia. Now ,not according to the acolyte,changing history n established lore. And the lesbian space whitches,creating life without a father ? Wasn’t that Aniken Skywalker’s story and claim to fame,what made him the chosen one? And Darth Plagues,was the only being that could do such a thing ? Not anymore,according to the acolyte,that focuses all its effort,on diversity equity n inclusion,rather then good storytelling,from ppl who aren’t even hardcore Star Wars fans. How else do you think, it would turn out? I don’t know, if you like the Lord of the rings movies. Well, Peter Jackson did a very good job of sticking to the source material, the best he could. And he had a policy, that they will not let anyone’s political beliefs, or current social beliefs. Get in the way of the story. And, I don’t know if you have really watched the original trilogy ,starting with a new Hope to return of the Jedi and watching episodes one through three. That’s what Star Wars is to fans that have watched from the beginning. The old-school guys, the real Star Wars. Disney has done nothing but slowly destroy the franchise. I liked the Mandalorian, but episode seven through nine, the Disney ones I don’t consider Canon. And many many other hard-core old-school Star Wars fans feel the same way. Disney is putting out garbage and insulting the fans, with all the DEI stuff, and not even telling good stories. And many of us, aren’t sure that it could be brought back. Kathleen Kennedy is mainly responsible for it. And George Lucas trusted her, And this is what she has done There’s fan films that are way better than what Disney has put out, it also seems like or most definitely is there purposely changing history, and it’s not for the better.
