- Welcome to our channel. This video is about our 4-day trip to Bocas del Toro in Panama. We cover the drive from David, Bocas Town, Starfish Beach, Dolphin Bay, Filthy Friday, The Bluff Beach, Bird Island, Zapatilla Island and much more. WARNING there is a lot of Beach, Sand and Surf. We hope you enjoy and comment.
Really love the way you shot this video. We've been several times and we move there in early 2024. We are sending this video to friends and family so they get a taste of Bocas.

35 years ago it wasn't at all so developed. Our group forded the beachhead to get there. Worked on a school and clinic in Bocas-town. There wasn't one vic there at that time. The indiginenants mostly used donkeys if they had one. They taught me to climb a coconut tree there. Tourism has really brought it along.

Visit before you make any major decisions
We came to Panama last October and one thing we found that Panama didn't seem to have something that we enjoy back home was cream for coffee. We love our coffee with 18% cream. What choices do they actually have there for a use like this? We were only there one week so we were not sure if we missed something. Thx
How long did it take to drive from David to Bocas? Loved your video.
Hi, we drove slow with several stops along the way. We arrived after about 4 hrs at Almirante to get in line for the ferry at 12:00. Then 2hours on the ferry. Roughly 6 hours total without rushing. It's worth the trip.

Great video! We have a trip planned there and cant wait. Is there parking in Almirante to leave our car while we are in bocas for a few days? We are staying on Solarte and I cant find any info online in regards to where to leave our car.
Hi, thank you for watching. There are plenty of places to leave your car. Don't hand off your keys to anyone! Take all valuables out of the car.

@@kaimolle9386Our trip is in March. I think we will take the water taxi from Chiriqui Grande instead of Almirante. Panabocas express has parking available in Chiriqui Grande they said for $3 a day.

Very nice. Do you really need a car on that island? If i lived in Bocas. i would just have a little boat. I cannot think of a better way to downsize.
Hi, absolutely no car required. We brought ours to show what it's like to travel by car and other than the trip to the Bluff we did not use it

cuz when I went diving in Bocas Del Toro there were no fish. Nada!
