Kris and lisanne will never be forgotten amd the truth will come out one day.
Boquete is gorgeous. I was in Panama last year and spent a few days in Boquete. Can’t wait to return. I am planning on retiring there. Boquete is on the list along with Gorgona, Pedasi, and Las Lajas. Thanks for the share.
We just got back from Panama and did some private tours through Panama Relocation Tours and we checked out David, Volcan and Boquete, this time around, as a check it out tour for possibly moving there one day. Boquete checked all the boxes for us and we are already planning our next trip! Love the food, the people and the beautiful country!
It's such an awesome place! Good luck with the search
Boquete is a magical place. I am considering retiring there. I'm so glad we went there! 💖🙏✌️
🙌💕
We have lived here for 3 years now, and the magic never stops. I’m glad you loved it.
That's amazing! It sure is a special place
Panama, the real paradise on earth
Agreed! It really is so special
I live in Boquete and this popped up in my YT feed. Great video of our town! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. The video of that last hike you took just about brought me to tears with its beauty. ❤
Sooo pleased to see you there! Loved your MX vids but I've been to Boquete and it's really special. Enjoy!!!
Glad you enjoyed it and what a treat that you've been there too!
Happy Birthday!!!! What beautiful scenery. Loved the coffee experience, keep letting us live vicariously thru the both of you!
Thanks for joining us!
Happy happy birthday 🎂🎂🎂🎂. Awesome video 📸. Gorgeous scenery!! Safe travels!!
Thank you so much! Such a beautiful place
To be a little country Panama has many places that can be visited. Ex. In the Pacific: Pearl Islands (Isla Pedro Gonzales, Isla Contadora, Isla San Jose, Isla del Rey, Isla Mogo Mogo, Saboga and many others; near the capital isla Taboga; far from the capital in the pacific the biggest island in the pacific americano (Coiba Island) and near chiriqui province. You can visit boca chica also. And in the caribean you can visit san Blas or Bocas del Toro. In car you can visit El Valle de Anton, Buenaventura, Pedasi, playa Venao, and many other places. Good look in your trip
Thank you! So many places to explore and enjoy
Wow... you mentioned all
Always excited to see a notification. This looks like a really cool place. most of the food looked great as well. Can't wait to see where you go next and also get some updates on the house.
Thank you! House updates will come soon (but not too soon) haha! It's a long journey. Thanks for always tuning in. We appreciate you!
Happy Birthday Liz!!!! You are like a fine wine.....you get better with age.......glad you had a great day!
Haha thanks Cash STT
We called Beautiful Boquete home for a year! A part of my heart will always be there. Thanks for this video.
Lucky you! Glad you enjoyed it. Why just a year?
@@EatSeeRV we had lived on the other side of the country the year before. After over two years in Panama, business brought us back to the states. My moving to Panama video has some Boquete footage in it. We went back and stayed with friends a couple years ago. I absolutely love it there!
Great video!! Really well done and helpful for visiting the area ☺️
Glad you enjoyed it! Safe travels there!
awesome video. Thank you so much
looks SO amazing!! definitely on our list!
I'm sure y'all would love it!
The vloggers Nomadic Movement live there. They have a coffee shop in town. They have employees running the coffee shop. They could likely get you together ... "trade subscribers" ...
Yes we know they do! Although their coffee shop is in Vermont. They just have a coffee farm there
@EatSeeRV Also a coffee shop in Begabette (sp?)
Gracias por visitarnos ❤
Great job folks! I live here and you share my sentiments exactly. Felt very proud watching this. Consider me a new subscriber!
That's awesome Rich, enjoy beautiful Boquete!
Looks awesome! And you guys always find the most amazing looking food! 😋
Thank you! We sure do try
Great vid! Where did you stay here? I am currently researching Airbnb's.
Great video. We live in Boquete and it is everything you said. If you’re in good health it’s a great place to retire and get back some of the brain cells that the rat race took away. 😊
Sooo epik beautiful video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
Happy Happy my young friend. Another wonderful video. Hugs Gene
Thanks Gene! Hope you are well :)
Boquete is not Panamá’s best kept secret.🙄 It is THE most popular tourist and local destination in the country. Playa Cambutal and Playa Morrillo are Panamá’s best kept secrets.
Thanks for sharing!
Excellent and informative video! What was your car rental experience? I have heard horror stories of expensive mandatory insurance that triples or quadruples the quoted rates, plus crazy high credit card deposits ($2,000 to $10,000).
We did have mandatory insurance which was like $100 more. But no crazy high deposits. I think $200 on a credit card which is pretty standard
I think that going to the mou ins in Panama would be an Imporint thing to do. Beautiful..
Very subtle passive aggressive comment. Lol 😆 next time just leave the beautiful.
@@EatSeeRV yep, it's a wonderful world where we can mutter, utter, and be free to express or not express thoughts, feelings, observations implicitly, explicitly, all the while not seeking acceptance from individuals or bots There in...Being a free thinking human being really is imporant...
@@EatSeeRV Good day, as a side note, did you visit the Macanito district along the Rio Chiriqui Nuevo? There are some big rocks and it is said to be a somewhat popular swim location.
Yes, I came to view this video partly because of the 2014 disapperance. As to what really happened to the girls, we could agree to disagree.
wish i was back there!
Rightttt! That weather and all the greenery
Odd the shops names and things are in English. So very beautiful. Thank you
Haha not all, but yes.
i retired to central america 2010. i lived in boquete about year. lots of old conservative gringos. . I finally settled down in san juan del sur, nicaragua. tourist town. surfing. younger crowd.
It is Christine’s birthday today and she agreed with Liz. Spending it in a hot springs would not be a bad thing at all. I might be getting worried that I might need to dig out my recorder to do a little serenade like Dennis was doing. 😀😀. Waterfalls……it is always going up or down and then you are doing the opposite returning.
Happy birthday Christine (belated now) but happy nonetheless!
@@EatSeeRV Christine says thanks. Save journeys you guys.
Nice video. Is it true that the area, locally, is experiencing a drought?
No way they could experience a drought. It rains an average of 115 inches a year there haha! But it is an abnormally dry year for them because of Super El Niño.
the city still hides or covers up a bizarre case of two girls who disappeared on the pianist's trail!
It's definitely not covered up the facts about that is very much out in the open. Also a tragic experience that happened in 2011 should not define a city for the rest of time
Magic!
For sure!
You did not go see Kaylee and Jordan from nomadic movement? They have farm there.
They should have imho. Trade subscribers. Nomadic Movement vloggers have a coffee shop there.
We don't know them. We've watched their videos but we're not personal friends haha.
@@EatSeeRV You should really reach out to them. They are not only a great resource, but they are amazing people. They would welcome you with open arms. I'm amazed by what they are doing and building there. --Jordan's Dad -
Were there any power outages when you were in Boquete?
Nope!
Did you see any adventure motorcyclists in Panama ?
Saw a few! It'd be an epic country to explore on a bike
Where did you stay?
An amazing Airbnb on Volcancito road. There are lots of Airbnb's in the area and bed and breakfasts too
What month did they visit?
That was July.
For what authorities did with the Dutch girl's case in Boquete, I would NEVER EVER come there, shame on them
Pros: Sunnier than Monteverde, CR, more luxurious than La Fortuna, CR. Cons: fewer hikes and lacks guides for eco tourism. There is no significant state support for parks outside downtown. Hostels lack the social pub dynamics of CR hostels. Solo travelers should stick to beach hostels in Panama. In CR, inland hostels are more fun.
Just spent time here in February. Weather is good, little windy sometimes. My problem with this town is that it is an auto town, not a compact walking town. Tours to waterfall or volcano require car or or van transport. In town there is a parque biblioteca which is worth a visit. Beach towns are 3-5 hour van trips away. There are more hostels here than you find on line, don't know why they don't seem to advertise. Best wishes.
Kris kremers and lisanne froon 😞🙏🏻🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Estoy aquí por Kris y Lisanne 😢
¿por qué? ¿los conocías? Si bien fue una tragedia y una pérdida terrible, sucedió hace 10 años. Boquete no debería ser recordado exclusivamente por este evento.
@@EatSeeRVwe know them from their story which people care very deeply about. True bouqete shouldnt be remembered for this but its a stain. Their full story will one day come out and the truth will be known.
@@EatSeeRV ты лучше молчи 🤫!
Do people spreak some english there?
Yes many do.
please be very careful
With?
@@EatSeeRVwith traveling alone and hiking without a tour guide. Let people know where youre going. Slso dont hire tour guide feliciano. He may have been involved in kris and lisannes disappearance. Stay safe. These areas arent always as safe as they make them out to be. Its gorgeous but you dont know the culture or what goes on behind the scenes. Theres drug trafficking as well in the jungles.
Don't end up like Kris and Lisanne!!!
Yes dont ever hike without a tour guide and in a group.
The tour guide actually murdered them
Dont hike alone with feliciano or his son. @@radoslavjezo6358
O nome da cidade é "Boquete" KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Would so love to soak my bones
Right. Especially in that water. It's supposed to have healing effects from the minerals
Secret ?….not really.
We had no idea haha
Honestly? Boquete is overrun by Americans, expensive like hell, has nothing to do with Panama life. If Americans complain in the USA that Italians, Greeks, Germans all moved into one area - that’s what Boquete is for Americans. If you like to live with your country men. Why you actually move away from the USA? Makes no sense!
It is almost like you get paid to be over positive about this place.
Or I'm just sharing my real feelings. We LOVED Boquette
@@EatSeeRV yes right, and you can get lost very easily on the pianista😅
As kindly as I can put it Boquete is one of the worst, most racist and corrupt places I ever visited in my life. From the mayor extorting small businesses to the clickish expat community and sky high prices, you would be better off in Colombia.
HBD!
Thank you!
Mountain has a T in the word, why are you saying Maoh iinz? Is it a speech impediment or a learning disability?
If it was either issue why would you feel it's a good idea to comment on it in this manner?
It's an accent. I know alot of Americans especially from certain areas of the US say mountain this way. The T is dropped much like the R is dropped for alot on the east coast.
