The update of one of the most popular shapes in the surfing world has arrived. The new version has more volume and can be surfed one inch shorter than the original SCI-FI. Its tail has also been modified to offer more lift in softer conditions without making it harder to turn.
The Slater Design SCI-FI 2.0, a versatile high performance board that works in very small waves as well as in solid swells, perfect for intermediate and advanced surfers.
Firewire's LFT construction consists of a 1.5 lb density EPS core, with an 18 mm wide spar made of a secret composite used in the aeronautical industry. The epoxy sandwich construction offers incredible durability and works in conjunction with the spar to regulate the flex of the board.
