Yes 😅
fr why not buy the screws :)

AD-SSD 8K Over-clocked PC 🖥 😅😅😂
I've been dwindling off watching electronics on CZcams because 90% of the content is watered down, they skip over the in-depth build process, the challenges and solutions along the way, like you said, the iterative process. This video is the perfect mix between technical depth, the journey of problem solving, awesome factor, and entertainment. By far the best DIY electronics video I have came across in a very long time. Top work Cam!!
Thank you for the kind words! It is a very tricky content area to navigate all the factors you mentioned. So I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed my style 😄
This has been such a satisfying build series to watch, looking forward to see what the custom PC is going to be like!!
You know it's gonna be sick
This is, hands down, my favorite CZcams channel right now. Just fantastic.
Was just about to say this! Totally agree
Criminally underrated
"I'm not a designer but I really like designing things!"
- 3:59 Truely Inspirational😂😂
cam really is the only youtuber that im subscribed to where i immediately click on the video, you never fail to amaze me cam!
Fr
Cam is awesome but another guy you might love too is diyperks
@@Rm250rydr well i do watch diyperks too sometimes, but cam's creativity is just awesome, and i like to support smaller creators too
All hail King Cam
Not only did you create a video showcasing this awesome project, but you also provided us with the plans and models for it. Awesome content!
Your are right focus on cable management and the foam underside and it will be so cool!
Yes, I spent some time this morning at least getting cables off the floor. But I want to unplug everything now that the tech is in and make clean runs to ensure minimal interference for audio cables.
Haha yeah the corflute needs a long edge for the front. I'm thinking of getting a 2.2meter piece of metal that can act as a straight edge and screw over the bottom front, making it all seamless.
Always more to explore and refine!
@@camshand Dang sound like a plan. I really like this project. Its such a cool look with the frosted plexy.
Keep it up!
MAAAAAATTTEEEEEE!!!!! So bloody stoked to see this all come together! Got those chills with you.
Good luck w/ the cable management, with the amount of tech you're cramming in it's worth looking into some form of cable labelling. My desk is a dual display PC and Macbook setup run through a HDMI/USB switch (via thunderbolt dock) and the takeaways from a tonne of cable management iterations over the years due to component failures and moves would be;
- Draw and maintain a labelled wiring diagram, both intended design and "as built" once done.
- Label each cable at Source, Output and mid-run. Especially important if you end up using more than one plane (X/Y/Z)
- So you can hotswap cables ideally have each managed seperately. If not, then manage groups applying "seperation of concerns"
- In an ideal world I'd find a way to use "junctions" to seperate "zones" and run appropriate length cables between. The idea being that if I wanted to swap my monitor cable I just have to swap the cable from [[ Monitor Desktop Junction ]] rather than having to remove the entire cable run back to the PC. This would have been invaluable when the DisplayPorts on my GPU went and I had to swap to the HDMI and USB C outputs.
- To minimise wear and tear from bumps and day-to-day vibrations on ports/connections, fix and secure as close to the port as practical.
Love your stuff man and pumped for what else you dream up.
Man those chills are like nothing else 🤩
Awesome tips, thank you! I for sure should add some labels, at least to the lighting and speakers which have specific sides.
A diagram is a good idea, I've done it in the past on my previous cable management video a few years ago as it just got confusing even sorting out powerboard loads.
Great idea with a junction box,, even running a switcher for my monitor would be handy as oh how I hate trying to reach behind it!
Looking forward to sharing the custom PC build with you next 😁🤙
The moment you realised it all fit, gave me instant goose bumps. Absolutely love this project. Super excited for the next one.
ohhhh such a great moment! Never thought I'd be angle grinding circuit boards to save millimeters 😅
AMAZING! There is nothing like building custom items for a desk for the specific tech you use. Great video and short enough so as not to bore the viewers. You are truly gifted!
This project has been so fun to watch. I don't have a clue what you're doing 90% of the time but in a world of problems you are a solutions person and I love it. Well done.
Thanks Nathan! I've enjoyed sharing the process, the ups and the downs. In the end it all comes together 😁
Loved the entire process. Killed it.
Man, this is one of the BEST DIY/desk setup video on CZcams, I can't wait for the next video to drop!!
Appreciate the compliment 🤩 I'm excited to share more soon!
As a fellow Aussie, I am glad I have stumbled across your channel, I have binge watched pretty much all of your recent videos (mainly the desk build) over the last few nights. Subscribed and can’t wait to see what you do next! Keep up the great work mate.
Good job, looks great!
Awesome job Cam. Keep it going💪
Really enjoyed this entire collection of videos. Congratulations on your desk setup! You're a fantastic creator!!
Good job! It looks incredible!
Made my freaking day ! Quite the build ! And without the use of expensive tech in general ! You did an amazing job !
This series has straight up been one of the most interesting series I've ever watched! Seriously incredible job Cam! Can't wait to see what you do in the future :)
Amazing proyect!!! Can’t wait for the next one
Dude what. This is insane. So cool.
This has to be singlehandedly one of the coolest desks I've seen.
Gotta agree with you there Eddie 😜 but I may be based haha
Unbelievable!! Great work dude!
Nicely done!
Looks absolutely fantastic!
This video was so wholesome. It's the first I see from you and I promptly subbed. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Dude great work and dedication. This is showing your real talent of showing what's in your head
This is so sick! Well done!
Very nice! And also as a ham radio guy, if the ham radio guys see this they'd love it too. Our radio desks are always screaming for panels and organization. Well done!
looks amazing
I found your channel about 3 videos into the desk build and have seen each part a few time. Love the great Custom work you're doing. Huge fan!
Thank you for subscribing! Glad you've enjoyed the process as it's unfolded 👍
nice job dude, real clean aesthetic
That's freaking sick!
Looks amazing great work
after watching this, I AM STOKED! this is just absolutely gorgeous, and i CAN NOT wait for that next video! Nice work cam!
Thank you, I'm very happy with the result 🤩 excited to put my new skills to the test with the next project!
@@camshand I can't wait for the next one! I wish ya luck buddy!
Really freaking cool. Congrats on finishing this beast of a project.
Thanks Max, I'm stoked to finally have no blank panels on the dashboard 🤩
gotta love that you set up a new project to go into after this one, looking forward to it!
haha always got something planned 😉
Duuuuuuude yes!! It is looking so amazing! I am so stoked for you. The physical hacking you are doing is so fun, I love the time and effort and patience you have for these tiny things you have to worry about to make it all seamless. Just brilliant. Cannot wait to see the pc get started! Congrats mate
Adam dude! Thank you for the tip on the sanding. Although my hand tool skills aren't up to scratch like my robot ones haha.
I do plan to try etching with the laser cutter on the back side to get a precise depth to fit the PCB 🤙
Custom PC planning and prototyping is now in full effect 💪
Sick build mate. So glad I found you when I did. We need more people like you on this platform!
Appreciate the kind words Josh! Glad to have people like you subscribed 😁🤙
OVERALL this is dope!!
Man you’ve grown so much. Super duper proud!!
what a beautiful desk!
That looks amazing
Amazing job man!! It's impressive and your desk look f* awesome!!! 🤯🤯🤯
Amazing work very inspiring, can't wait to see more.
Well done!
I have a dream to build a an entire set up like this
This series has been amazing! Definitely has made so many of us want to design our own dream desk, cannot wait to see how you make a custom PC!
It's been really great to read the comments of inspiration, far more than I could imagine really connected with the concept!
Custom PC will be very unique, but to go from ideas in my head to real world, much like the desk, can be quite the process haha.
BRO THIS IS SO COOOOOOOOOOOOOL
SO HYPED TO SEE WHATS NEXT
so interesting and loved the video and film making!
This is super cool, and I'm so glad you managed to get everything fitting together and working how you imagined it! And I can't wait for the custom PC...
The Custom PC is going to be very unique! Let's just hope the build process is straightforward haha
@@camshand Yeah lets!!
Loving this work man!!! Great stuff! And I wish I had your level of patience haha
hahaha oh man it took a lot of patience. Pretty sure my wife was tired of hearing about every little detail that wasn't working lol. Happy that's it's now at a stage where I can enjoy it.
Amazing stuff. This series gave me huge motivation and inspiration for my next custom setup. I didn't even know I wanted a different setup from what I have now, yet here we are.
Thanks for the ideas
Haha well not sure if I should say sorry or enjoy as I know what the custom desk journey ahead is like! Good luck
That's really impressive craftsmanship and creativity. Keep up the good work.
Bro this is phenomenal!
Very satifying to watch! Thanks.
Love this, so unique to you in so many ways. Much better than the 'custom setups' kinda videos, this has depth ! nice work
"It's not gonna fit" hahaha, the moment you realize you forgot something and now you have to think about another solution, good thing it was a "little" change, 12:29, that was literally me waiting for it, man hahaha, I'm so excited to see what you do next, that custom PC is gonna be awesome I know it for sure.
hahah ohhh my heart couldn't take it much longer. Very happy that each solution didn't take too much reworking.
Custom PC is going to be really fun. Just like the desk, I've never done a unique PC case, but I feel I've got most of the skills required now to pull off my idea! 💡
Man, your videos are SO inspiring, definitely one of the best YT channels!! Keep it up!
First time seeing your channel or hearing of you. Enjoyed the video and the format. Subscribed. Cheers!
This would be my dream project if I owned a laser cutter and had any confidence in soldering. I would love to make a highly customized solution like this. Maybe someday...
Never had any formal training with CAD software, but as a graphic designer I have plenty of experience with Illustrator, so I use practically the same method for designing complex 3D printed mounts. I recreate my precise bits in illustrator then import that SVG into TinkerCAD and kit bash everything together.
Bravo!! You really captured how it is to fit existing tech into a re-purpose or different enclosure. Back in the days before 3D printing I did a lot of this type of thing and have gained a lot of experience over the years, not always successful, but that's the incentive to improve (I bricked an $800 VST player once!) With that knowledge, I would say you did very well!
I'm loving these, and has me wanted to try doing this myself!
It all start with an Idea, than make a plan to chip away at! 💪
so amazing dude, you're rocking🤯
what a beautifull set up. I hope one day i can build one like that
Brilliant job! I don't think I would have the patience to get this done, but the look is phenomenal. Keep up the work. Subscribed.
Thanks Erich! It really tested my patience haha, the custom lighting more than anything. Very happy with the final product. Looking forward to sharing future projects with you now that you're subscribed 😁👍
Great work, just stumbled upon the playlist while skipping through yt i wanted to such things myself some time but havent quiet got the idea where to start nice inspiration keep up the pace
Thanks Leon! We all start somewhere, I try to break any project down into small chunks. This Series was a good example of that. Learning the frame and how to drill the mounts. One step at a time 🤙
This really was a great project!
amazing work bro!
The algorithm worked .... searching for custom desks bought me here today. Amazingly, it appears we also live in the same town looking at footage in some of your vids. Keep up the amazing work, pumped for the PC build!
That's awesome it's coming up in search 🤩
And well my e-scooter vid very much highlights I'm a fellow bendigonian 🤙l
Wow what an effort you put in this vision. I got to say this looks verry good and all the hard work paid out at the end. Well done !
Thank you, it was quite the journey but I'm very happy I stuck with it to see it through 😁
I've really been enjoying seeing your whole process. I'd love to do my own custom desk build some time, and what you've done is really inspiring.
Very happy to hear you're inspired to make something yourself! it all starts with an idea 💡
I've seen a lot of desk build videos but nothing like this... next level insane!
Thank you, it was quite the process!
It's been an inspiring project to follow along with. Congrats on the build and looking forward to the next project!
Thanks man! Love your vids 🤙 keen to share the custom PC build, hoping all the measurements will line up haha 😆
Loving it!
Hey Alan! Hope you've been well 😁 Glad you love the result so far.
I do hope to get around to programming my custom dashboard as the centre panel, but for now, the next project is calling my name haha 😅
That’s sooooooooooo cool 🤩🤩🔥🔥
CLEAN
your video came up on my recommended this project is insane love what you did with all the other tech, looks very teenage engineering inspired (Swedish house mafia tour console in paticular) subscribed cant wait to see more stuff in the future.
This was so much fun to watch! My brain started hurting when you went into the brackets lol. Crazy good job man!
Yo Matt! Thanks for watching man. Yeah the bracket was a pain, but a good lesson in iteration. Just keep trying and eventually each little issue will be solved 🤙
This is SICK
THIS IS SOO COOL
this is amazing, just watched the whole build and cant wait to see the custom pc. I love the microbot on the desk
Metal for the PC frame arrived today! I'm excited to put it all together and start prototyping my custom panels.
And nice spot, I love my MegaBot, 3D printed and hand painted it's faces
@@camshand Oooh so exciting, it was one of the first things I spotted being a fan of Big Hero 6 my self.
Fair play mate, been a great journey to watch
Thanks for following the journey Chris 😁🤙
great project 💪
Man, this is so wild. Easily the most creative desk setup on CZcams (or dare I say...the internet?)
Incredible work you've done here. Nicely done! 👏🏻
Danny! Appreciate it man, I haven't seen anything like it before in a home desk setup so you might be right 😉
Exellent! I've just watched the entire serries and i did'nt know you before!
Very good work, that is my dream too ^^
Thanks for sharing your work!
Very nice vid!!
I just picked up a stream deck plus today and did my first page of actions and wow im inspired to do something the same!
ok...that is hands down the most impressive custom desk build i have EVER seen
this is so rad.
that project is what i dream of, almost, a ship like design.
goodjob m8
A fellow Finals enthusiast!! Dope vid man
This looks so amazing!
I could never use this as i rest my arms on my desk, but this looks amazing!
Yeah my chair has arm rests so it's only my wrists that are at the edge of the desk.
Could always make a deeper desk but I found I rarely need more than an A4 page worth 👍
Very nice work 👍
I love your work¡¡, im slowly getting mor and more into product/industrial design and this project is such an inspiration.
You are a genius!! Love watching your videos!! 💪
Bro the man Ben is in the house! So excited to model up my Custom PC. Appreciate your help with the radiator file 💕
You did good bro! looks beautiful 👍👍
Appreciate it man 🙏
Insane dude
Thanks man 🤙
