2016 Subaru WRX STi (3rd run - best run of the day) - 13.30sec @ 102.36mph
Third run of the day, ran a total of 6 times with 4 x 13.3sec - I don't think I could have gone faster without shedding some weight.
Car is 100% standard/stock, had 3/4 tank of fuel - had to do my best to ensure I got away clean from that supposedly 800bhp Supra ! My best run of the day.
Breakdown of time slip:
60ft - 1.77sec
330ft - 5.45sec
1/8 ET - 8.48sec
1/8 MPH - 81.69mph
1/4 ET - 13.30sec
1/4 MPH - 102.36mph

800bhp Toyota Supra Turbo - 12.9sec @ 130mph !

That's a really impressive time for the stock wrx sti with no launch control! Wow, i tried it, best i could manage was 14.2 seconds. No longer stock and have launch control, so looking forward to going back for another try.
I couldn't launch it without smelling clutch big time.
So admittedly i took it easy first gear.
When it's stock you've really got to get it off the line hard otherwise the times won't be great. Once modded it's a different story of course!

Are you riding the clutch or just dumping it? What tires are you running too? I managed a 14.1 on all seasons and pretty much a full tank of gas. It was my first time ever at the track so it was hard getting the right rpms and peddle modulation. (New to subies and AWD.) Thanks.
This was slight clutch slip to move then dump and go. Tyres were stock Dunlops.
To go quickly you've got to do things that feel a bit brutal, but the transmission on these cars is capable of taking it.

nice clean run on a stock STI dude. What was your settings with traction mode, DCCD, and sport sharp i'm assuming?

if you can do LAUNCH CONTROL, you can run 13.0 bone stock
Timetunechi I ran a 1.7 60ft.. it wasn't going to get any quicker, with less fuel maybe but launch control wouldn't have helped.

I think the Supra messed his launch up,either way nice launch for a stock sti,mine 17 sti is stage 2 going to the drag strip soon ill try get some footage,I think it’s stage two cuase I don’t have E85 yet just the basic bolt ons atm

That Supra need some Drag Slics, but for 800HP is to slow. Good Run on the STI
mapped by SRP then again the Supra rolled off the line, spun like crazy because like you said no slicks, and still beat the sti to the line who had almost a perfect run.
Supra spin only in the 1st and 2nd gear. If the car has truely 800HP, the Topspeed must be over 140MPH.

Pretty sure it was just CDiff in auto then about 5krpm with a teeny bit of clutch slip to move before dumping the clutch :)

I live the Subarus. Love my Subaru also. I definitely think another 100-200 HP and the STI might have beaten the Supra. However am I the only one that thinks 12.3 is really slow for a 800 BHP car? It’s mostly just power to weight and if I crunch the numbers I’m getting 11 seconds and that’s rounding wayyyyy up. I thinks he gave him the race. But we will never know

@@SubaruVideosUK yeah I mean Subarus using a boxer engine and boxer engine cars manufacturers only two witch is Porsche from Germany and Subaru from Japan (I prefer Subie because it's more lighter and swifter but most Subie I like is 22B because it's light and 2 doors only) and they should make it a brand new Subaru with neither 2.0 litre or 2.5 litre or maybe 2.4 litre witch is lighter than 2.5 could be faster due twin scroll turbo or bigger turbo but still single turbo and 2 doors because 2 doors cars is more classes and eye looking and cooler and lighter but more expensive but the shorter the car the easier to make it tho so the manufacturer should do this 2 doors because people more like it and cheaper to build than 4 doors that material were used for and if that happens I'll like to see that
