Rothes 1 - 1 Forres Mechanics (08/04/24) - Breedon Highland League

Highlights from our away draw to Rothes in the Breedon Highland League.
The first half was better than the 0-0 half time scoreline suggested. The game started evenly, but through good passing and movement the Cans managed to get a hold of the game and created a few good chances, but unfortunately none that they could make pay.
The second half started in much the same fashion, but it was not until the 74th minute when a strike from Shaun Morrison broke the deadlock to give us a well deserved lead.
Unfortunately a scramble following a corner resulted in an equaliser for the home side just under 10 minutes later. Despite this we continued to press for the winner. On this occasion thought it was not to be as the points were shared.
