    origin. southern Europe to central China.
    best grown in dry nutrient free soil.
    I will be doing some expiramits on watering.
    growing zone 4- 10
    I started getting serious about bonsai around 13 years ago.
    I have always been into plants and was interested in bonsai since I was a kid. My first bonsai was 3 cuttings from a ficus that my great grandmother had as a house plant.

    I used to have one in front yard I live in NW Indiana zone 5. Lovely tree! I've been doing bonsai for over 30+ years, but I never thought to try to bonsai a smoke tree.

      I'm really excited about this tree I repotted it, I did a video of it. And I that I had killed it, but it is leafing out so we will see how it does.

    They grow very large my one is easily 20ft tall

    I like the shape you’ve got there. It’s a sort of pretty tree. I’ve never worked em but I doubt they are too fussy. They are used in landscaping I think.

      That's exactly right. I found that this tree likes shad and lost all its leaves after this video. It has leave now and looks good I'll have to do an update
