    Ughh seeing the “Pastor” yell and try to intimidate his wife as she sat there clearly uncomfortable and probably scared she’d get hit later for her mis wording. He seems the type. Hi Christina, my mom had post partum depression when i was born. She had this horrific thouths about hurting me... she was so scared and not tolking to anyone about this but she was so afraid to hurt me that she didn't want to be alone with me. One day she was confronted that she was going to be alone with me and she collapsed. She start screaming, crying and she needed to go to the hospital. DSF dropped the ball once they closed the family case. They closed the case because Dena was taking her meds and doing good but what DCFS was blind too is they were being played by the husband. Case was closed and husband said no more meds and Dena obeyed because quack pasture most likely preached “wives obey your husbands” WHAT DCFS should of done and is protocol in many cases like this is do random pop up home visits for so long before closing the case. Knowing she could possibly hurt her own children. Even if she is in a altered state when she did this. She wasn’t 10 min before or day before it. When she don’t take meds. Than gets back on them. Her memory don’t disappear. Her altered thoughts are very much in her head while on meds. She knew damn well what the chances were if her hurting her kids or herself or someone. Again this isn’t somthing that’s not a fact. Science studies show these people in altered states know prior with meds they are okay an without they know the dangers. An the bad acts she did. She has to live with daily. She was a grown women. Not a child. My mother battled severe mental illness my whole life. One thing I know she wouldn’t allow me to spend the night there. They’d hold services on Saturday evening until the next morning (Sunday) and continue church until noon. It was exhausting as a child. We had church every single night and all nighters on Saturday. Men getting up there yelling, spitting, foaming at the mouth, it was scary. We had ppl get “fill with the spirit “ start speaking gibberish & shaking and screaming. It was terrifying for a child! The blind leading the blind. The preacher sounds like a mental case himself.
    Dina's husband's logic left a lot to be desired. Mental illness was never mentioned in the Bible so no such thing existed? The Bible also doesn't mention pneumonia, cancer, and any number of other very real illnesses. I agree that the husband definitely contributed to the tragedy that later occurred.
    I can't imagine the terror and agony that the baby went through. This has got to be one of the most horrific stories I've ever heard. And what a strange coincidence that Dina once roomed with Andrea Yates. I feel sorry for both women and their children, and the circumstances that compounded the mental illness they struggled with. Interestingly enough, they were both influenced by so-called "religious" people. God help us all.

She working with my mother as a teacher at Children’s World Learning Center in Plano, Texas and was pregnant with Maggie at that time. Briana and Kelsey also attended so we knew them pretty well.
    I’ll also mention that the husband did not call the church ladies, he called the employees at the daycare center and they are the ones that called 911.

The preacher was glad this happened in his church because it would bring attention to his church. After i heard that i wanted nothing to do with any of them. She was already crying out for help and was ignored. And you're right her husband had played a BIG part in this. He should've been charged with something. My Dad was one of the detectives that was called to the scene and he said this was one of reasons he retired shortly afterwards. 30 years as a CID detective and this is one that he couldn’t get over.

    • @FlowerGirlMy
      @FlowerGirlMy Před 2 lety

      o please, bible does not help you discern evil. That mother knew her bible and how did it ended? That disgusting priest new his bible and used it to spread evil. . Now just don't say chistians invented morals and if you are atheist you have no morals.

      How is it even logical to learn about how life works from a book which is sooo outdated like the bible?? It's just so ridiculus. It's clear that people back then had very little understanding of almost every aspect of human health and had all sorts of weird explanations how life works. It's like taking driving lessons from somebody who has never driven a car.

    Yes I am heard of this case! It’s horrible! I am not sure how I feel about her! She was found not guilty by reason of insanity! I thought it was a kind of post partem psychosis! Like Andrea Yates! I do agree that she should never have any contact with her other children but yes her husband is not blameless in this as they were both followers or a charlatan preacher which prevented her from getting the help she needed. It’s tragic and it’s one of those cases where it should have never happened
