- Sterling, my baby Iggy trying out her new boots at the office. (we live in New England and the snow and the salt on the walkways in the winter burn her little feet - the hope is that the boots will protect them... If she can learn to walk in them!) She runs, (or tries to run) to the door when I announce the UPS person, because UPS gives her cookies. She did get plenty of cookies after for being such a sport. ☺️

@@BusterBuizel I appreciate the sentiment of the humour, but the animator would likely have to klutz up the dog more to sell the fact that they’re wearing boots. Animation is all about exaggeration, or at least, it’s more fun this way.

I just moved to a place that gets a good deal of snow, and having an Italian greyhound who never cared but now… Apparently he cares. So his shoes are a little bit too big and are even more floppy than the ones in this video and he does the same exact thing, but when he goes out to poop in the snow, he is just so thrilled that his feet are off the ground. But literally, I look forward to him pooping in the snow just for the giggles.

@Ig-nat-ius Cermit (I think is it’s spelling) is the dog of a pretty highly ranked CZcamsr couple. The dog famously did not appreciate footwear. Now, I don’t remember the girls name who started it all for them, or their channel, but her ADORABLE husband is named Julian :-P that I remember hehe

That's exactLy how my Italian Greyhounds acted the first time I put boots on them. Soon they will refuse to go out into the snow without them. Next you will be shoveling paths in the snow for them. Don't laugh, you'll do it because you love them.
Human says "Do the steppies, Please." Doggo says. " Ummm, these things, ummm. . . They seem to be on my feets. I can't do proper Steppies."
Cermets are not easy to house break. Not the right dog for inexperienced owners, but wonderful animals if you know what youre doing.
They need lots of love and attention and should not be left alone too much. They're bred to be companions, and get lonely very easily.
It reminds me of those old typing games where you had to press certain keys in a certain order to make a runner run

For people who don't bother reading the description. The dogs paw are irritated by the sidewalk salt so they are trying boots. If you think that is the best idea is up to debate but at least read the description before you shout "abuse". The dog is at best mildly effected and probably got use to it.
